It's all about sources. Sources that are trustworthy are trustworthy. Sources whose whole job is to root out the false stuff on the internet and who actually research things are solid sources. Some email that Moby got from who knows where and that has been discredited is not a good source.

    Learn to tell the difference.

I offered snopes.com, but he chooses not to believe snopes.com. So he choose not to believe the truth. It's only a matter of time before he's telling us some story about how his kidneys were stolen in New Orleans and getting all indignant when someone has the gall to question him. And if you offer any proof that it's a UL, he'll say "Who says snopes.com is right?"

kirkit is a liar. He lies in every single one of his posts and he doesn't even care. That offends me. When I assume he made an honest mistake by trusting the wrong source, he gets on my case and chooses to continue to lie. Why shouldn't that offend me. Why shouldn't I react to that?

He lies. He hates us so much that he cannot be bothered to tell us the truth. That's offensive and it casts a pall over every single thing he says. Since he has so little respect for me (and you) and hates us so much, why should I not be offended by that?

God forbid someone try to tell this guy the truth. He'll shoot the messenger and then continue to lie without remorse.

Why you would want to defend someone with so little respect for you that he insists on continuing to lie to you in every single post is beyond my ability to understand.

Dubya has his days, but mostly he is refreshing. On most occasions he says what he wants, they way he wants .... oh sure he has speech writers ... but well .. he just doesn't listen to them ....

.... I have become so tired of listening my entire life to glib, double-tongued, two-faced politicians who can't ask for table salt without having a speech writer put some spin on it ......

" ...... As president/senator/congressman/blah,blah,blah INSERT ANY POLITICIAN'S NAME HERE ... I would like to take this opportunity to thank the hard-working american laborer who not only mined this salt or as my science advisor likes to point out ... Sodium Chloride Crystals, hehe, heh ....... from mother earth .... with not only environmentally safe processes, but with all the ingenuity this INSERT RACE/ANCESTRY HERE ethnic diversity represents in it's belief in the American Way ..... and I would like to thank the manufacturing industry ..... the very backbone of the greatest economy since post World War Two .... for packaging this salt in one of the finest and most artistic expressions of freedom ... a simple cardboard carton .... the old way ... the proven way ... the American people's way ..... Now without further adieu, or delay .... please pass it to your leader, your representitive, the figurhead of democracy, your only defense between the hordes of other masses and the free world ..... ah, thank you .... the entire governement body thanks you .... the american people thank you .... my dog shep thanks you ... "

Dubya would just say pass the salt there willya?

You mean that when a signature is updated, it is updated even in the old threads? I noticed that, too. It's one of the features of the vBulletin over the old UBB software.

To all of you who are so obsessed about the "Bushisms," are you so superficial about everything?

Well, I am that superficial about almost everything.

But at least I like to be accurate in my superficiality.

mrpaige: I'm all for accuracy; I just don't see this as the time in our country's--- make that the world's--- history to be ridiculing our President over such trivialities.

You all know that this has absolutely NOTHING to do with President Bush being able to do his job.

Well, in fairness. This thread was started before the recent troubles. It's only been kirkit who has insisted on keeping the "Bush" quotes in his signature despite being shown repeatedly that the quotes aren't even accurate.

But we've noted on many threads that kirkit is simply blinded by hatred and completely biased with no respect for the truth.
