    Great idea. Why?

    1. Trilogies work. The Matrix, Lord of the Rings, Godfather, Star Wars (twice), etc.
    2. We can finally resolve all the loose ends and bring closure that came from the epic Weekend at Bernie's 2.
    3. Robin Williams is a dead ringer for Bernie.

    Anyway, “Next Weekend at Bernies” is being produced by Ashok Amritraj – currently working on the new “Street Fighter” movie

    That was the only part that interested me. I'm a sucker for bad movies.

    i like godfather III also. i think it gets a lot of bad rap because it's simply nowhere close to the first 2. i still enjoy it though.

    I just said the same exact thing to someone here in my office.

    As far as the Bernie thing goes, this takes the cake for the worst idea. I originally thought it was the Milli Vanilli Story. This is worse.

    You guys haven't read the article - it's a remake, not a third installment.

    I usually am open to remakes, but come on... Bad movies shouldn't be re-done, they should be followed by an endless line of sequels!!!

    This sounds like a great idea for a sketch. If the movie were a sequel, Bernie would be a disgusting rotting skeleton
