Awesome! Eric Roberts...lay of the hard stuff, buddy! Anyone else get the impression that he was -really- tipsy in his scene in front of HRG's house? I hope they quit referring to Claire as a cheerleader now. Who do you think the Hatian was referring to (I don't remember the exact quote) when he said that he had orders from someone 'in Claire's life' to not mind-whipe her that supersceded HRG's orders? I still think Claire needs some training in badassery. She gets captured way too easily. She would be a fighting machine above Nikki's level if she could shrug off broken bones, bullet wounds, etc, during a fight (ala Wolverine). HRG is a cold-blooded killer. The way he took out invisible man after 7 years of partnering was harsh. He's not the good guy I thought he was. I saw it coming and Eric Roberts hinted at it at the end of the show- Matt is going to work for Primatech. I just don't understand how they got him. As stated earlier, he has some big holes in his powers. I was shocked to see Sulu and Hiro on the rooftop in the flashback. How can Hiro's pop NOT know he has powers? Looking forward to next week's episode and finally seeing Linderman and what he can do.
My candidates: it was a reference to Claire, Sulu, or Inviso. My guess is, if a powered person has a kid, odds are extremely high that they'll 'manifest.' However, someone born to non-powered parents can also manifest with no one seeing it coming. Claire was born to Firemom and Nathan, so it seems the company knew about one of the two parents. Evan
Maybe Hiro's sister has powers too. And maybe 'The Company' is sulu's company in Japan. That's why the Dad knows how to speak Japanese.
In response to who the orders that "superceed" Bennett, I'm guessing it is Claire's Mom (firewoman). Who else would really be looking out for Claire? Perhaps Invisible guy Why has word not spread about this show yet? At least around me, people (including myself) are still hooked to 24's repetitive nature (although it has picked up lately), and Lost's frustratingly slow pace and lack of character development lately. In my opinion, Heroes is the best of the mysterious prime time shows on tv now
Don't think Clarie's real mom has any real intrest in her, last we saw her she was taking the money and running....Claude, The Invisible Man, was only worried about himself when first introduced so I doubt he'd be giving orders on safe guarding Claire BTW, Heros is a pretty big deal, one of the few big new shows from last fall plate
I'm thinking the Haitian works for Lindermann whoever he may be. Also the unit that HRG worked for did know about Claire's mom. That's how they stumbled onto claire. (Graphic Novel). They had orders to bag and tag claire's mom when things went wrong, but they were able to discover claire in the process.
Warning - true spoiler Spoiler It's not much of a spoiler, but if anybody cares, Lindermann will played by Malcolm Mcdowell: Also, here's the lowdown on Simone: [rquoter] Simone Deveaux, the girl who was shot at the end of last week’s episode, will die. Sort of. While she may die officially as of this week, we will find out that she has a special power as well — the power to die over and over again, then (like the Phoenix rising out of the ashes) revive herself after 24 hours. This of course will mean that we’ll be seeing a morgue scene, soon — where Simone will wake up, freak out, and realize that everything she’s suspected about special powers is something affecting her as well. The power itself isn’t the most helpful because of the 24 hour down time, but it’s nice to know she can’t be killed! [/rquoter] which is how she's going to make her comback next week.
Spoiler Response Spoiler Yeah, not a GREATEST or most helpful power. But imagine if Sylar got that power. Damn that would suck. You kill the guy and 24 hours later he's back on the loose.
This episode of Heroes is probably going to push me over the edge of recording it on my Tivo instead of 24. Great episode.
Towards the end of the show what was that conversation between HRG and that British guy about? (they were in a hallway) They were talking about the Haitian guy in a negative tone. I didn't understand what the Hatian guy had done wrong other than speaking with Claire. What is the name of the British guy as well?
That's was because HRG had made it appear that the Haitian had known about Claire and was hiding her, leaving HRG in the clear
