Haha...that's exactly who Calvin Johnson compared himself to during an interview at the combine.

Just watching the acceleration CJ gets, he maybe the best player in the draft.

This video reminded me of this catch Roy Williams made during training camp a couple seasons ago. Not sure why but I thought I'd share...

Some highlights of Brian Robison, wouldn't mind seeing us pick him up if available during day 2. The guy is an unbelievable athlete w/ great closing speed. Injuries hampered his senior year a bit.

If I had the #1 pick, I'd be taking Calvin Johnson.

    I'd love to take Landry...

Or, draft Branch and take Meriweather with the 2nd.

    I love defense.

I really want Okoye over Branch. Branch is a run stuffer. Okoye is a pocket collapser, an aggressor.

I know. I want AP with that pick, but if he's not there, I hope they go defense. We have the potential to be a dominant one in the next couple years.

From what I've seen of Branch, I don't think he's even going to be that much of a run stuffer. He's a block-eater. He's really big and really strong, but he doesn't get great push (yet), and he doesn't release well (yet). Block-eaters are definitely valuable, but good ones are typically available second day. I wouldn't spend a top 10 pick on a great one.

Nelson may have dropped himself into the second round with those times. One can only hope, because he has great coverage instincts.

I wonder if Andre is that fast b/c even though the offense was horrible you think there would more deep balls to thrown to him for TDs. Even a bad QB would recongnize a wide open receiver on the fly. A bad Bengals team even had the deep ball w/ Johnson & Palmer. So is Johnson does not have sepration speed?

Andre Johnson doesn't read long balls well. Go back and watch some of the throws where Carr did go long to AJ, and AJ slowed down and the ball sailed over his head. Add to that the fact that Carr checks down too quickly, and you have the recipe for a 3-yard slant.
