it ain't the weight room..some people are just cursed/prone

Supposedly they don't expect arterial or ligament damage. tests + mri to make sure coming up. shouldn't be as bad as it could've been..

Oh my... how did he not land normally? There wasn't any contact after he jumped. Looks like he landed on the inside of his left shoe and his entire body weight went down on the knee.

But yeah weight room wouldn't have done anything to prevent an injury with how he landed.

I'm pretty sure I was told that when you dislocate your knee the MCL tears, so I'm not sure how they could say theres no ligament damage.

I can't bear to look at the picture, but if it dislocated to the outside of the leg then that's the better way, and if they put it back in place and it stayed then that's antoher positive.

The recovery is about a month off from doing anything, then he can start walking and such, about 2 to 2.5 months was my recovery. You guys are right though, the weight room with emphasis on the quads and calves would have helped, however this is an unexpected injury, can happen with any odd landing.

Too bad then. Shaun's was dislocated inward, essentially pointing directly at his other leg.

Sucks, but if anyone in the league could really benefit from sitting in a chair and shooting the ball its Livingston. The Clips didn't really have a shot to do anything but get beat by the #1 seed, so this might actually be a strange blessing.

i cant start a thread but wanted to know some peoples opinions on this
"Reggie on the radar? No way of knowing how serious it is yet, but Reggie Miller could be a candidate for the Mavericks' vacant roster spot.

Owner Mark Cuban brought up Miller's name before Monday's game against the Hawks. The former Indiana Pacers star is the No. 1 3-point shooter in NBA history. He retired after the 2004-05 season, but remains in excellent physical shape.

And joining the Mavericks would give him the chance to do about the only thing he never did in his illustrious career – win a championship.

Avery Johnson said he and president of basketball operations Donnie Nelson have been discussing options for the open spot, but are not close to any decisions.

Miller currently is a member of TNT's broadcast team"

Good Lord. I bet the Clips are regretting not moving him and Maggette to get AI, he looks Jon Bender-esque.
