if we had dream's ppg. we would easily be 16-13: portland 88-91 dream second half 5pts. win 93-91 phoenix 122-128 15ppg give or take a few 130-128 boston 96-100 no one that matches up with dream 25 pts. easy, we win 105-90 new jersey 94-106, again no matchups , dream 20 or so points we win 101-95 san antonio 77-83 more help defensively for duncan , we win 85-75 new york 90-101, absolutely no post up game in that one, ewing would'nt have 20 points . we win 95-101 toronto 99-100, oakley would not have hit that shot, dream 15 points or so, we easily win 99-89 prediction we either barely make the playoffs or barely miss it, dream will average around 20-22 ppg. beleive me folks he will comeback strong.
I will agree we would of won most the games if hakeem was here. BUt 20 something ppg, NO. He wont get the ball that much to even get 20. He is needed to do defense and score in the 4th.
Actually, I think he will get the ball that much. Last year he averaged 19 or so points, and I think he can this year if he is used right. I have been saying all along, it was not Dream or Barkley that were the problem, it was them TOGETHER at the same time that was the major problem. When Dream went out and Barkley was in, we were clicking, we had the inside and the outside working. If Dream can stay healthy..A BIG IF...then it can happen again, and we could go on a roll.
