The home leg of the Dynamo vs Puntarenas series will be played at the Aggie Soccer Complex in College Station this Thursday at 8:00 PM. The game will be shown live on FSC.

Houston lost the first leg 1-0, Puntarenas scored their goal 2 minutes into stoppage time.

For those wondering why it's being played in College Station, UH claimed that having a game on a weekday would interfere with classes too much and wouldn't let them play at Robertson.

They didn't really say that, did they?
Are they shutting down other sports during the week as well?

They really said it. I guess basketball doesn't count.

DrLudicrous, are there any updates on Onstead? I'm very comfortable with Wells back there...especially if they get to a shootout. I think the conditioning will be a little better and the field conditions will make a huge difference. DeRo needs to take this one over and get something going early. I don't think they ever really tested the Puntarenas keeper so we don't really know what he's capable of.

I'd love to be there but the drive from Austin and back just ain't gonna happen on a Thusday night.

My prediction - 2-0 Dynamo (2-1 aggregate win)

Uprising, if we go... do we have "pre-game" festivities ready ;) ?

I am willing to drive BY MYSELF... or carpool if anyone drives to my house in Katy.

What are ticket prices like for you A&M dudes? EDIT: Never mind... I noticed it's $20 whether you're Aggie or not.

Onstad is out until the MLS season opener, meaning Wells will be in goal.

How many Dynamo fans are in Austin?

I'm meeting some friends at 290 & 6 to go to the game if you want to ride with us. We'll be leaving his place at 5:00. I could probably go through Katy to pick you up, or you can meet us there.

And regarding the game, the only thing that worries me is Robinson being out. Hopefully they'll try to bunker most of the game an not press the attack. And I think Ching will make an appearance this game, in his blog he said he probably would have played if we had another substitution, hopefully that means he'll play at least 45 minutes this game.

3 as far as I know...my wife, my 17 mo. old son, and me. I'm sure there are more Houston transplants that follow them.

Aww that sucks man. Hope you can get free. I'm gonig to be there. My ticket was $20. I don't know anyone here that would want to go to the game (here being CS).

Hope to sneak my ass over to the Battalion section.

As for pre-game festivities, I'm wondering whether to try to tailgate or hit it up at a bar or something for a while.

No sneaking necessary, it's all general admission so just head over.

The Texian Army will be meeting at Zapato's on Northgate before and after the game. Trying to organize a tailgate before the game was going to be a pain since everybody would be getting there at various times, and most of them within an hour or two at that.

It's game day, I'll be leaving work early to make the trip up.

Reports are that Ching won't start, but will come off the bench for 30 minutes or so if he's needed.

I think it's just fitness, he let his knee rest all offseason and didn't do anything to stay in shape. When the team started practicing again he took it easy at the beginning and then eased into the full practice routine.

He played in all of the games in Florida without any pain to his knee, but he never played more than 45 minutes.

Then my guess would be that his inclusion would be situational. If they're down in the aggregate, he will be in the game. I doubt we'll see him if they're up 3-0, unless they really want to get him some minutes for the sake of getting him some minutes.

I don't get what anyone sees in Daglish. He doesn't hold well. He doesn't pass particularly well. Can't tell about his shot becuase he never gets himself into position to take a good one.

Ching needs to get in this game. A few crosses in so far and no one to finish.

    Just as I say it

    GOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL DAGLISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
