i wouldnt be surprised amare gets away with initiating a lot of contact offensively. He uses his off arm a lot not necessary to push defenders away but to hold them back/down and hooks on his spin. but he gets away with it so there really isnt much anyone can do about it except complain but that gets nowhere
The only thing that impresses me about that pic is the fact that the Atlanta guys' jerseys look soooooooo clean and new that they hurt my eyes...
Whats funny is Amare was blocked by Josh Smith not too long before that. It was interesting to see, Lol.
It looks plastic-y clean... no wonder they're .393, the team doesn't seem to want to get their jersey dirty.
on the other hand, our 7'6 giant always gets called for a foul, even he looks like he is about to lift his pinky finger.
God, I sometimes wonder if people understand the game of basketball at all. First of, I think Nash is the best pg in the game and one of the top players. That being said, do you think it helps him that he has two amazing talents in Marion and Amare who know when to cut, can jump out of the gym and have high basketball IQ's. Watch last nights game as an example as the type of player Amare has become. He has a good 15 footer, instead of trying to dunk everything he learned to finish around the goal and get and 1's, good free throw shooter, can play up tempo, half court or back to the basket, good footwork (now), good passer, unselfish, much improved defensively (especially rebounding). If you want to hate him that's fine but to say he sucks makes you look as ignorant as all the people who say that about Yao and TMac on other boards.
I like how people "HATE" a person because he won an award they thought somebody else should have won.
