Rejoicing at ANY player's injury is class-less. We want to get a ring by beating the best teams with all their stars.
was watching that Spurs Jazz game, I'm sold on that Paul Millsap guy, he hustles and is their Chuck Hayes
the only time i want to see the jazz lose is against us. i hate the jazz but at least for this season what they do in inconsequential because they are guaranteed a top 4 seed (unless denver makes another big run). seeing the spurs lose tonight was more important since the rockets need to over take the spurs to ensure HC advantage in the playoffs. sucks for boozer, i dont like him but he sure was playing really well this year.
Optimism nuggets4, optimism. You'll get the 8th seed and be creamed by the Suns in an orgy of offense. At least it will be incredibly fun to watch...
better some other team than us... I think we have had enough injuries for 10 teams over the last couple years.
I'm concerned about your team and want the Nuggets to do well. Between Melo, AI & George Karl, it's in everyone's interest to make this work. All 3 guys will end up tarnished if the Nuggets fall flat. I still say you guys will eventually catch fire if Karl doesn't start up the mind games with the players. I used to work for a jerk like him.
I don't get why this team refuses to play any defense at all. You have Camby and Nene, you should be able to stop people from scoring.
Optimism? You haven't been following the Nugs the last decade, have you? That's what's so frustrating. With our style of offense, we're going to give up a lot of points as well. That's not a big deal. The problem is with the complete lack of effort. The perfect example was the Charlotte game. In the third quarter, there were times where we were flying all over the place. We were drawing 24 second violations, steals, blocks... it was like watching a Van Gundy defense. Then 30 seconds later, we'd allow McInnis to walk down the lane for an uncontested lay-up. AI needs to start threatening players.
while they pounded the lowly hawks at home tonight boozer is critical to utah's success. if you looked at the other games they were all very very close and if it werent for okur stepping up hitting some big shots they very well could have lost the last 4 (well not the hawks game) instead of winning the last four. if i recall right all the game so far outside of the phoenix game have been at home which has been a huge booster for them in these games without boozer
Took the words right out of my mouth. I've seen an x-ray or two where parts of the fibula was removed for "surgical harvesting". It's pretty neat.
I think you'll find he came back the night before against Denver. http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=270223007
Yeah, I was just being glib... Boozer is a critical piece for them but my comment was really for those who anticipated that Utah would fall apart in his absence. In fact, their standing in the West improved during Boozer's absence, probably most attributable to Williams playing out of his head...
