Did anybody see this? It was painfully unfunny and the canned laughter was very distracting, you can look up reviews yourself. Here's a perfect looking "leaked" clip that first showed up on Youtube: <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/YjIfaMwIFxU"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/YjIfaMwIFxU" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> Here's a cheaply made parody of the show that is actually funny and skewers the subtle racism and the laugh track: <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/DlQQxyKZn5E"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/DlQQxyKZn5E" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
LORD, that first video is just brutally NOT funny. Fox News should stick to what they do best: Wall to wall coverage of Anna Nichole Smith's CORPSE. Actually, besides the canned laughter part, I thought the 2nd video was equally lame. Clearly, the Fox video was an extremely WEAK attempt at political humor, but I didn't think it was racist. Are we not allowed to poke fun of Obama without being called racist?
Well I don't know how funny the spoof actually was, but it was slightly funny, I guess, which beats the fox original anyway.
This is so clearly an attempt by Fox News to come up with a conservative version of The Daily Show that I am actually embarrassed for them. The second clip is to the first clip, what the first clip is to The Daily Show.
Why dont you, black, tell us how superior, black, your intellect is, black. Thats about as subtle as that first crappy clip was. If you think thats funny, Id hate for you to actually watch something intellectually funny like the Daily show, or Bill Mahr. LOL, you might explode.
you're most definitely intellectually dishonest. moreover, judging from your one-sided posts, a parrot for the NeoCons.
What I don't get is that the audience for these shows are supposed to be young people. Wasn't there a study saying the average age of viewers of CNN and Fox News to be around 59 years of age. The show would never appeal to these people. I'll wait for Fox Financial News instead.
I don't understand the point of this show. Ya'll already have your comedy shows: O'Reilly, Rush, etc. Why try to copy our humor?
this show seemed to come about after o'reilly and his loofa sponge went on the colbert report. for a couple weeks afterward i would be flipping thru and see o'reilly on his show talking about colbert. he even had a body language "expert" on once to break down colbert's mannerisms. it is pretty obvious that they are just trying to copy the success of stewart/colbert. fox's ratings have been going down the tubes (especially among the younger age demographic) and this is a pretty obvious and lame attempt to recapture some of that market. there is also the sean hannity program where he has his "enemy of the week" a'la keith oberman's "worst person in the world". these chumps have no original ideas of their own.
Fox absolutely dominates the cable news ratings. They blow CNN and MSNBC out of the water. No cred...
they are still #1, but their ratings have been dropping, especially in the 18-35 demographic, which this show is a desperately trying to attract. its pretty obvious. and we wont even get into your "cred" (or total lack of) tradertexx.
O'Reilly has had the "body language" expert on many times it wasn't just in response to the Colbert interview.
