    Treeman.

I was reading a nice relaxing post about another country and culture when you try to involve Austrailia in your war schemes. Isn't 62 countries and an endless open ended war on all levels enough for you? Leave Austrailia out of it.

Maybe if you could go over there, get some booze, smoke and sun it would help.

I know the six weeks or whatever the Austailans get for vacation would help me.

Every time I go to Mexico I meet Aussies on sabbaticals of 6 or more weeks. How do you guys do it?

Leaving Australia out of it would be ingnoring the facts - we have declared our support of action by the USA and have comitted to sending forces to the middle east, just as we decare our support for almost any US Military initiative. We fought with Americans in WW1, WW2, Vietnam and Iraq.

Nice stereotype. I could bring up a few stereotypical behaviours of people like you, but I won't because I don't like people doing it to me.

We get 4 weeks paid leave per year, and we aren't afraid to travel far from our home. Thats how.

Davo, sorry if you think I am stereotyping all Austrailians as boozing, smoking and relaxing. I didn't mean it that way. I just meant that Treeman should chill out. The thread did not seem to about the World War III he gets so interested in.

My comments on your vacation structure were based on admiration of your system and the wish that we could join you and Western Europe in longer vacations. I don't think most Americans realize how badly they get screwed in this area.

I'm sure that many Austrailians support a large scale war effort like you might.

Point of information. What do the polls show most Austrailians want to do now about this matter?

I think that us Aussies have the most number of public holidays...but don't quote me on it.
In Melbourne alone, we have a holiday just for a freakin' horse race (Melbourne Cup Day)....I never could figure that one out!!!
But I'll take it any days I can.

    Oh, and farewell Luc Longley.
