Severe dislocation of his left shoulder...they could not pop it back in place he had to be rushed to the hospital. Riley said he doesn't expect him back, and he said they may need to make a trade.

i am glad that the refs did not call an offensive foul on Battier because Shane's arm got in the way of Mighty Wade's hand

I guess I was wrong....that has to be the worst dislocation I've ever seen.

Thats unfortunate, he was playing great. Hate to say it, but the way he plays, it was bound to happen.

Once again we prove to be better than Mavs. We've done to him what noone else in the league could. We've stopped Dwayne Wade.

Sux for them but I don't care.

Mavs fan should send us some roses for this gift.

Daym, that was awful. It looked pretty bad on TV, but didn't think it could be this severe. If wade goes down, so does any hope for the Heats. I'm not a big fan of DWade, but he is really an exciting player to watch. Hope he can come back sooner.

Wow that's really unfortunate, basically the season is over for the Heat if he is really out.

It's not like it was any of the Rockets' fault he got injured, he went to defend Battier and essentially did it to himself, but I still feel bad and sorry for him even though I usually hate him for all the calls he gets (and was getting tonight).

Wish him the best of luck and I hope he recovers as soon as possible.

I knew it was a dislocated/separated shoulder. I've had the unfortunate experience of having that injury to BOTH of my shoulders. I remember one time I couldn't pop it back in immediately after it was separated. Lets just say I, too, was in tears.

I hope he takes as much time as he needs to recuperate. I guess the only good that comes out of this that it wasn't his shooting arm. It's real hard to regain your shot/mechanics/reflexes if that happens on your shooting arm.

Sad news for the league. Wade was having an amazing season. Any chance they can make the playoffs if Wade doesn't play the rest of the season?
