With Yao coming back, we don't need Sweetney. Now if it was Bonzi for Duhan, I'd be all over that.

If we land Bibby by trading Bonzi, then I would do it in a heartbeat. But Sweetney and Davis?....No thanks!

Pass on both names mentioned, would be pissed if they gave away Bonzi for either of those two!

I agree. We don't need to trade Bonzi. Sweetney and Davis have nothing to offer.

That would almost have to be Cleveland sending us Damon Jones and us forwarding Sura's expiring to Sacramento.

That actually doesn't sound so bad. If right now the Rockets' backup PG is a midget who has no court vision and a mediocre shot (JL3), why not get an undersized PG who doesn't have much vision but can actually shoot (Damon Jones)?

Anyone have an idea if NO is trying to trade? If so Bonzi + Lucus for Hilton + Pargo. Good trade in my opinion

We need a point guard, i seriously doubt JVG has any interest in old Dale Davis.

a likely scenario in the bibby trade involving the rockets would be:

rockets send sura to the cavs for damon jones

cavs send gooden (allegedly who the kings are asking for), sura, and shannon brown (brown makes the salaries work ) for bibby

kings get gooden and dump around $5M from next season's salary. they're lottery bound but it's a deep draft and possibly have enough salary space to another big piece depending on what the cap will be.

This sounds just about right but I think the Cavs will send Snow to the Rockets instead of Damon.

These rumor mill trade proposals are so lopsided it's not even funny; Bonzi for Sweetney or Dale Davis? Give me a break.

Jake Tsakaldis brings more to the table than Dale Davis. Sweetney is an overweight, undrachieving nobody, but if we can somehow grab bibby, im in for that. Otherwise, HELL NO!

Man, if Sweetney wasn't such a fat slob, that would be a good trade because he does have game. Not good d, but a good close to double double threat and not a liability on o.

But if Skiles can't get him to get in shape, I don't think JVG would either.

    Dale Davis? puke.

bonzi played a solid game tonight which enforces why he needs to be in a rockets uniform. no trades for bonzi unless its an above average PG. i mean who else is going to hit those 70ft jumpers?

Yea, but he increased his trade value a ton did he not? He proved he has extended his shooting range. :D
