Pass. Flip ain't a good backup PG (isn't a PG at all, really) and DD doesn't really fit the skillset we're looking for in a PF (decent lateral quickness, range on his shot).

No thanks. I didn't even know that either player was still in the league.

Pass, I feel that Bonzi has more upside than Flip and/or Davis.

We don't need another center with Yao coming and Hayes playing well.

It is totally possible, but its favoring the Pistons. The Rockets just made a move to get a 3rd Center in J.T. Nazr would NOT be the backup for Yao b/c Mutombo is playing GREAT right now, and Yao is scheduled to come back in 2-3 weeks. Flip Murray just gets buried as a 4th stringer behind our SG's (Mcgrady, Head, Snyder).

Really, the only reason the Rockets ever signed Bonzi was b/c of his playoff experience and post season numbers. If the Rockets give him away for a 3rd string Center and a 4th string SG, my mouth will indeed drop!!!

I just dont see much sense in it for the Rox. They really would like for Bonzi to be wearing a Rockets uni at the start of play-offs. I think they will test the waters else where and possibly get a servicable PG for either Bonzi or the most likely option....just Sura!

Luther Head > Flip Murray. I can't imagine what Flip would add to this team. Even worse, you're stuck with his contract, whereas Sura and Bonzi can both come off the books, if need be.

Actually, Rockets > Pistons. I don't know why we'd want one of their bench players at a position where we're already deep.

If we get a 1st round pick for this year, I'm all over that trade.

Not like a Pistons draft pick will be 1-20 this year. It will be so late it will almost be 2nd round...plus when has jvg liked rookies? If it wasnt for Mcgradys injury last year, Luther would be out of the rotation.

We can trade the pick + someone else (JL3 anyone) for a good PG.
