My personal favorite, Krispy Kreme original. Nothing beats it.

 

Every work place has that one assmunch that complains about the lack of cake donuts, then stacks half the box with cake donuts, because he assumes everybody agrees with his demonic, twisted donut philosophy. Congrats, macalu, you are that assmunch.

Cherry Iced from Shipley's. Better than crack, and I've had some good crack.

 

I grew up on Shipley's chocolate covered. I do like the strawberry frosted ones too though.

 

I prefer cake donuts as well, but I love the hot Shipley's glazed

 

KK isn't even in the same league as Shipley's...

Most people say they would miss Whataburger if they left Texas. I would probably miss Shipley's even more.

 

I would have to go with KK. Maybe that's because I have been experienced to the other types of donuts do to my location.

It is true that Shipley's blows Krispy Kreme Korp donuts out of the water. Homemade is better still, though.

I will concede however that Shipley's cherry or strawberry iced donuts put up a tremendous fight.

 

I like the Chocolate Iced Cake donut that looks like it got stepped on. I love to disassemble them into my belly.

That's our family donut. Anytime I go see my sister out in California, I have to take a couple dozen for us to devour during the trip.

I love getting a white iced and a sausage and cheese kolache from Shipley's, and alternating bites between the two. Yum.

 

another vote for Shipley's glazed. i like their chocolate covered and filled also.
