    4. The Rockets are closer to the Mavs than you think. Their three losses are without Yao Ming. With Yao, they are one of the few teams to blow the Mavs off the court. I'm not saying they're better than the Mavs, but with Yao it'll be a seven-game series!

That's a strong statement can't wait til Yao gets back so we can show the world that the ROCKETS are the real deal.

    Hmmm....

Sometimes I still wish that we were underestimated. That will keep our disguise as the real Dark Horse.

I just want to remind you that it's not Hollinger's words but just a fans's opinion. So it's really not unusual for a rocket fan to say that.

That is not a comment written by hollinger though, but just a random fan. It's true we blew out the mavs with yao, but that was the 2nd game of the season.

Do blowouts only count after the All-Star break?

Yes, they hold more weight and are worth 1.5 wins after the break.

Yes, look at what the Mavs have done after that 4 game losing streak.

I want us to tank and barely make it as the 8th seed. This way we can secure a higher draft pick for Yi and still be in the playoffs.

I thought Hollinger just used reader comments to keep things fresh. I assume he still has to select the comment, and wouldn't use something he totally disagrees with.

It seems as though Hollinger is one of the few writers to be behind the Rockets strongly, and from the very beginning.

    Great!

Then, all them teams that beat us before the All-Star Break, don't count either. :D

With Yao Ming back in March, we'll be kicking butt with 1.5 wins for each blowout.
