i can't imagine anyone voting for anything except NBA or NHL. And considering most of us grew up in Houston...I'd say 90% will be NBA. MLB is ok, but nothing compared to NBA imo.. NFL is a joke

The NBA All-star game is the most fun to watch if you're not super invested in the sport.

There's only one where they play defense.

I've never seen an NHL all-star game, but I assume that hockey players would care the most about playing D.

NBA, because among the sports, it's the one most markedly different from its regular season games.

The nfl would be good during the season, although imposible, because by thje time the pro bowl comes around, everyone is about burnt out from the superbowl.

nfl is the worst since it happens when the season is over and most players dont care as its cutting into their vacation time.

mlb isnt too bad but the game itself is too slow paced to market and have entertainment value despite having all the marquee players...the home run derby is fun to watch though.

nhl i never seen an nhl all star game before i have no idea when its on, if its already passed or not. hockey in general isnt marketed very well in the us.

the nba is probably by far and away the best all-star game of any of the major league sports. its probably the biggest sports event of the year of any sport outside of the superbowl. the whole weekend and festivities lend to the excitment.

vegas was a good venue it would be nice if they have it there every year but i think it would cause problems somehow. or at the very least have games in neutral sites where possible (cant have a game if there is no arena) but i think vegas is the only real major market where there is no nba team. (st louis is the other city i can think of)

I think in the MLB is where the players take more seriously, in the NBA is the more anticpated, in the NFL is a just waste of time, (but I still watch it :D )
the NHL, I have never see that, but once I read the match is the US/Canada vs the rest of the world?

Baseball, and I think it is largely because of the homefield advantage rule. The tie game a few years back was a debacle, and Selig really did a great job to fix it.

You might be the first person I've ever heard of that liked that rule. Most people think it's absurd that home field advantage is determined mainly by players who won't even make it to the World Series. While still better than alternating it between leagues every year, it's still a mediocre solution.

I vote none of the above. If I had a vote, I'd pick the Ryder Cup. Golf's allstar game.

    MLB, then NBA

I'd rather watch the McDonald's All American Highschool Game than the NFL Pro-Bowl.

What, no love for the MLS all-star game?

jk. I know you mean "major" sports.

I seriously believe that the NBA all-star game is on the decline. I hate seeing games where there's no DEFENSE involved... :( ... all they do in the NBA is alley-hoops and they keep overdoing it... I think the only reason someone steals the ball in that game is so that they can score themselves and get the MVP. Selfish bastihds. On top of that, arrogant players win the MVP. Classy dudes just get assists.

MLB. i perceive that it's the one the players actually care the most about..even before the home field advantage rule.

however flawed that home field advantage rule is...the coaches managing those games take it pretty seriously. because they know it may very well affect their own team.
