    Yao just said live at the CCTV All Stars broadcasting booth that he'll be ready to PLAY in two, maximum three, weeks from now.

    And he said he thinks the Rockets will go very deep in the playoffs this year.

    I am pretty sure someone will post the CCTV version of ALL Stars game on the web, probably including the part Yao telling that to the CCTV broadcasters.

    I'm concerned with bulky need brace Yao will be wearing. I think it's already affecting him mentally. He mentions it every conversation.

    i dont know about the cctv but at least from that espn link the article says he is at least 3 weeks away from returning, not maximum 3 weeks.

    hopefully the cctv thing is true, i just dont want yao to rush back too quickly, if it means him staying out another week to be sure and safe. I think we've for all real purposes have cemented a playoff spot I dont think the team will go into a sudden downward spiral (barring any other injuries) to drop out of the playoff race all together. My biggest desire to have everyone at full strength for the playoffs regardless of the seeding I think we can go toe to toe with anyone at full strength

    Didn't JVG say that if Yao was cleared to practice he should be able to play?

    I hope they are not rushing him back....but JVG does have a point.

    I luv' JVG. He is a no nonsense type of coach. Speak what in his mind, but do made mistake at time. BTW, don't all coaches make mistakes now and then. I am all for the coach, at least for the moment. :D
