Its about time.. 20 points for the wizard. And now he is back to his old self. Wizard was great today. Even though we lost. Im glad he is back. I would like the rockets to still bring him off the bench because rudy makes him play alot of d in the starting rotation and when its time to shoot he is tired. BUt the wizard needs to play more because he is goood. Im glad he is back.

Me too. Man, I would really love it if Walt continued to shoot well. I would really like to start Walt in place of Matt Bullard. Walt is like an upgrade Matt Bullard. He can shoot off the dribble better, unlike Bullard who needs to get set before he shoots. Plus Walt has a higher arc on his shot, so it's harder to block Walt than it is to block Matt. Plus, Walt can drive all right too.

WE could really use Walt's shooting right now, so hopefully he will keep it up!

I think the wizard can keep it up. He is a great player and knows that his shot is back. So now we can see him help the team alot more.

I'd have to agree with you francis3,Walt should definitely still come off the bench. He really is a professional shooter and when asked to do other things,he can do them but it detracts from his shooting. This IS just one game ,but I do believe from experience that he's out of it.This being said,Rudy needs to decide whether he's going to step up and handle this team by taking advantage of our player's strengths through playcalling and firm up a sensible substitution pattern. Now,if this happens,Walt has his shot,Dream comes back STRONG,and a deal goes down, we might actually make the playoffs.
I would bet the other way and say Walt is increasing his trade value.
I do love the way he strokes it when he's on,but I would deal him ASAP.

    Francis3,

You of all people should realize it was only one game. When Drew came out of his slump early in the year, and had a great game, you out of everyone, said that it doesn't mean anything it was just one game. Well, doesn't the same apply here, it was only one game, and one back in his home town. Let's see if Walt can keep it up for longer than one game, before we start praising him. Heck, Drew has been playing well and people are still saying lets see if he can do it for a longer period of time, before we judge him. Let's to the same for Walt too, I hope he is coming out of his slump and is back, but like you once said "IT IS ONLY ONE GAME!!!!!".

    Go Rockets!!!

HAHAHA. Well this is the wizard and its not bryce. I know wizard can keep it up because he is a veteran and knows what to do. But we will see if he can still keep it up.

This may only be one game, but more than anything, it restores his confidence. It restores the confidence of his fans, teammates and coach, but more importantly, it is a subtly reminder to himself that he still got game.

He is the biggest and most likely trade bait we have right now, and whether we keep him or not, him playing well is no doubt a good thing. My hope is that we can maybe ship TMass (he's definately valuable in this young team, but we're basically wasting him, so might as well ship him) along with Mack, and land someone who can add both experience and D (Kendall Gill?), to let Walt come off the bench -- where he will flourish.

Maybe we should have kept Stacey Augmon all along . . .

Stacey Augmon did not want to play for us, that's why we cut him I think. But I think in order for us to get Kendall Gill, we need to trade Walt Williams. I don't think we can trade TMass and Mackdaddy for Kendall Gill. It will probably be the original trade of TMass and Wizard for Kendall Gill. But it would be great if we could pull off a deal of Gill for Mack/Tmass.
