I am consistenly surprised how fast these things go. This is our third year of live blogging media availability and each year time seems to shorten.

And just as quickly as everyone arrived, everyone has left as quickly (mostly looking for food ... Then again, when aren't the media hungry?) with a few stragglers BlackBerry-ing, chatting or remote broadcasting (ESPN Deportes) one last image, one last sound bite.

And for us, we have one last post from media availability: this one.

We'll have two blogs going simultaneously later tonight: one from the Celeb Game and one from the Rookie Game at Thomas & Mack.

We have one last report from "The Circuit" where the players have their photos taken, talk to NBA TV among others.

Darren Misener reports: "John Schuhmann just mentioned the cramped situation but the heat has also been a problem. Yao and T-Mac both needed some refreshment while waiting for the interview room.

"Finally, provided with water, T-Mac stepped into the interview room.

"Yao, with a smile and a laugh, asked: 'Why him first?'

Carlos Boozer to a friend on tonight's Rookie Challenge:

"I got Paul (Millsap) grabbing 20 boards and I got D-Will getting MVP."

Dirk to Yao as the 7-6 Rocket tried to fit through a doorway (a scene that looked like something out of Willy Wonka):

"Hey Yao, watch your head buddy."

Yao responded by pointing to a sprinkler in the ceiling about an inch from Dirk's head.

You could say that it's a little cramped up here.

Yao Ming says he's taking Dick Bavetta in his race with Charles Barkley on Saturday night. He's even putting a 10 on the line to prove it.

Over at NBA.com there is a 3 hr online video entitled "All Star Participant Interviews." If you scroll up to 1:58:00 you can see an interview with Yao Ming and Josh Howard.

 

I thought so too.. but I think its the camera angle.. Theres no way Rudy Gay is same size as Raymond Felton

 

That's just Yao's M.O. He always looks miserable at these things.
