the problem is we usually have either deke or chuck hayes on the floor, neither of whom need to be guarded much. we should involve dirk in more pick and rolls to get him on tmac or a quicker guard. that's how tmac got the monster dunk on bradley in the 04-05 playoffs.
I love to see Luther to dunk because he has been usually known as a 3 point shooter. Great, Head got the dunk. Great, the Mavs got the game. That was indeed quite a baller move by Luther, but I would rather him not have had the dunk and instead have him make better decision towards the end.
hey better head finishing at the hoop than having Rafer drive for another useless teardrop and no contact. I think Rafer draws contact at the rim less than Head dunks.
agree, i like to see him dunk. But trying to being the hero in 4th QT everyday is too much for him. The ball should go through t-mac in the last few mins. Head is getting overconfident, i don't like that.
luther head is a moron. Man what the hell is van gundy doing letting head run the point. That just makes him a bigger moron. We lost the game cuz of head and rafer. **** you cant get it to tmac the first time then try a second time. And for the love of god luther, no 3's when you still have 22 sec left on the shot clock. He has been hanging out w/ rafer too long. Snyder should be in rather than Luther tonight. He doesnt match up well with this team.
So... you don't want a guy shooting 44.6% from 3-pt line, and leads the team with 121 3-pointers, to shoot 3's? Or do they count for less if there is alot of time on the shot clock?
Luther is attacking more , i like that. Im seeing Juwan Howard dunking more 2 which is suprising cause he never did that b4.
he should have attack when he was isolated with at the threee point line on the second half instead of trying to shoot over him,like he did in the 1st half.he is much quicker than dirk.bad decision
The dunk was awsome...HOWEVER!!!... He is picking up some bad habits. Three times I saw him try to do the tear drop or half @$$ finger roll and 3 times I saw him miss it. Yes he is a better then good..almost spectacular 3pt shooter, but that doesn't mean you have to jack it up everytime. And what's with passing it to Deke for a 10 ft jumper on the baseline. That is not the right pass.
