I just cringed a little being reminded of that. (I've never seen it. I can only imagine have to stare at her penis the whole time.)

Somethings are so awful that they're irresistable.

I don't know why this is such a 'bad idea' for a movie. I mean they sold a *lot* of this crap. The writer is right; this was one of the biggest cons ever.

I would say there is a story there.

I love Milli Vanilli! Well, at least I'm always singing "Blame it on the Rain" to myself. My wife makes fun of me.

As a side note, when the Ray Charles and Johnny Cash movies came out, we started getting a bunch of requests for songs from those guys at the piano bar. I wonder if we'll start getting requests for Milli Vanilli. I hope not, but we could probably make a funny bit out if it if Milli Vanilli is brought back into the public light.

If it was parody, then it's brilliant.

Best movie idea that is coming through- the action comedy starring Chuck Norris, Dolph Lundren and Jean Claude van damme.

    I've got it...

You get 2 of the Wayans Bros. Make them FBI agents, put masks on them and dress them up like white sorority girls...hilarity ensues

What? Already done it? Ok, how about...

The Wayans Bros again, but one of them is a midget jewel thief. He hides out with a young couple acting like a baby...hilarity ensues

    Really? I was just kidding.

I guess my point is that we already know the story. It's been told millions of times. There was so much about Ray Charles and Johnny Cash that people didn't know.

In their first dramatic roles together, the Wayans brothers star as 2 singers w/ a secret...

I think its a good and bad idea. I mean everybody knows the story.....unless you were a little kid whe it happened like me. But it is the ultimate con and it could be a good movie. Maybe. It does bring the story to a whole new generation though and seriously everybody liked Blame it on the Rain.

    I didn't.

Was just a small boy then but, I remember not liking:

    1. Prince
    2. Vanilla Ice
    3. Milli Vanilli
    4. Madonna
    5. Janet Jackson
    6. Paula Abdul (Though I did like "Opposites attract" mainly because of the animation. Same reason I liked A-ha's "take on me". )

Yet, I liked.. Cindy Lauper, MC Hammer, Michael Jackson, The Bengals, Simple Minds and Guns N Roses.. Ramones (but once I grew up I realized they were at their best in the late 70's).. Used to think Devo's "Whip it good" was weird.. My god did the 80's suck.. :p

I always wondered why the people that actually sang for Milli Vanilli didn't get the Grammy. The album didn't change. The actors were just props.

I'm just glad I'm young enough to not quite remember the 80's. I remember like 88-89 and that is enough for me.

    I did.

I wonder if the DVD of the movie will skip like their CD did at the concert... :(

    "Blame it on the rain
    That was falling, falling
    Blame it on the stars
    That shined at night
    Whatever you do
Don't put the blame on you
Blame it on the rain, yeah yeah." :D

While I think there's a decent movie to be made out of this(especially with Rob's life ending tragically a few years ago), the VH1 Behind the Music special will be impossible to top.
