    DAROckets,

It looks like I beat you to Thrash. I can't believe I waived him after Week 1, but I honestly thought that Pinkston would be McNabb's #1 guy. Thrash has unbelieveable speed and if it weren't for him being way down on the waiver wire list, I am sure someone would have already picked him up. I got off work at 6pm, came home and began watching NFL Primetime on ESPN. As soon as I saw what Thrash had done, I immediately jumped on the net to try to snag him. But deep down I knew you had already got him. I searched for him and to my amazement he was available, but I couldn't get Sandbox to respond to my waiver request because their database was unavailable. I literally sit there for about an hour refreshing the page until I finally got it to work. Even then, I still had a feeling you would beat me to him. LOL Anyway, you got the lion's share after Week 1 when you grabbed Pinkston and Kennison, but I believe I done pretty well today with this acquisition.

I can't believe my team is under-achieveing like they are. Owens dropped 3 passes today that should have been caught and Stokes dropped 2. Their screw-ups in turn screwed up Garcia's fantasy production. I guess I am living and dying by the sword with SF's offense. I have their QB, top 2 WRs, and now it appears their top RB in Kevan Barlow...since Hearst may be out with a concussion.

    DAROckets,

What would it take from my roster to get Rod Smith and Charlie Garner from you?

Anyone is available except for Garcia and Owens.

Well, it looks like I am down 14 points with Bill Schroeder still playing tonight. What are the chances of me stealing a win away from shanna? I was in the same situation last week and I had McCaffrey playing on Monday night. I got the points I needed, even though I needed considerably less than this week, but I lost McCaffrey for the year in the process. If I have to lose Schroeder to get a win this week, then I will gladly take the loss! You hear that, football GODS???

My team so far is the greatest example of how you can't judge a team by the way it looks on paper. Moss and Owens are two of the top 3 WRs in the NFL and they haven't done squat. Garcia has played well but is expected to produce more than he has. Dunn has only played 1 week, but was shut down by the Cowboys' defense?!? Conwell has produced unexpectedly. Nedney should impove as Tennessee's offense improves, if that ever happens. Brooking looks like a solid producer as does Urlacher. Derrick Brooks with only 1 tackle against Dallas's vaunted offense?!? LOL Schroeder looks to be counted on a lot in GB. Barlow is a step away from stealing the SF job away from Hearst. My backup WR's are top notch IMO.

I am going to have a problem next week though. Nedney and Urlacher both have bye weeks and I don't have anyone I necessarily want to waive to replace those positions for one week. I guess that is what I get for not keeping any defensive backups on my roster. Oh, well. I hope it gets better than this!

    Everyone,

Just wanted to let you guys know that Moss is on the block if you are interested. I am looking for a top RB or a good RB and WR. I have plenty of depth at WR so that is why I am willing to trade Moss. Don't even propose a trade if it isn't fair. If you are basing the trade on Moss's production thus far, don't even waste your time. Moss, in my mind, is still one the top 3 fantasy WRs in the league. So propose trades accordingly or not at all. :)

    Thanks,

    Crow

I'm not sure I want to move Garner just yet...my rb situation is kind of up in the air right now.Hopefully Davis will show me something tonight.

Drewdog is going down tonight. I'm down by 3 with Favre, Freeman, and all of my defense playing. As long as Sam Shade doesn't somehow score a touchdown, I'm golden.

Tyrone Wheatley is questionable for the Seahawks game next week so Garner might be a good play against their defense . Garners projected stats are 540 yards rushing and 80 catches for 760 yards . Bledsoe might be out for the year .

I probably wouldn't have done this trade in a pay league, but I think it's fun to do these huge trades in free leagues.

I'm still gonna kick y'all's asses anyway. :D

Yeah, that was my main goal in trading Moss. I think the upgrade to my RB corps was a lot greater than I expected to receive. In the end, I may regret trading Moss though.

    Players now on the block:

    Tiki Barber
    Duce Staley
    Jake Plummer
    Johnnie Morton
    J.J. Stokes
    Jerry Rice
    Marty Booker

I am looking to package 2-3 of the above players in one deal or two separate deals for a higher ranked RB or WR. All deals will be considered. I may wait to trade Staley until he is healthy as I don't think I would get full value for him now since he is injured. I am looking to trade Plummer for a good defensive starter.

Regret trading Moss? I think it's Staley, Barber, and Dillon for Richardson and Moss...you will never regret trading Moss unless Dillon gets hurt.
Since this isn't a pay league, I'm willing to trade Faulk for a third string wide receiver. Any takers?

I looked over your roster and the only names that I would be interested in are Mike Anderson, Charlie Garner, Tim Brown, and Rod Smith. You have already made it clear that you do not intend to trade Smith so that leaves three players of interest. If you are interested in any of the other players listed on the block, then we could possibly reach an agreement on a trade. If not, then I just don't see it happening unless you want to trade Garner for Barber straight up.

Wow, I didn't realize Dillon was as good as Marshall Faulk and that Moss was a third string WR.
