Outside of Rocket fans, the vast majority believe Dallas and Phoenix are head and shoulders above EVERYONE in the NBA with San Antonio being a close third. This is ANYONE - Rockets, Pistons, Heat, Lakers, Utah, you name it. And, frankly, right now they are better than everyone else which is why they have the best records in the NBA.
He definitely should not have included Utah and San Antonio in that. Rockets have not shown an ability to beat Dallas and Phoenix. I believe they could do it in the playoffs, if healthy, but conventional wisdom would go with Phoenix and the Mavs.

I saw him say it, and it was just a moronic thing to say. I love how he says the Rockets cant beat SA, forget the fact they went in there and beat them twice on their homecourt this year. Saying the Rockets can't beat Utah or the Spurs is just infuriating to me. Rockets were some free throws and a couple bad decisions from going 2-2 against the Mavbricks as well. The only team I'm not 1000% confident the Rockets can beat is the Suns because we match up so poorly with them. However, the Rockets can beat anyone once Yao is back. Charles needs to shut up.
I can believe that most people give us no chance against Dallas and Phoenix. I believe the same of S.A. to a lesser degree but to say we can't beat Utah in the playoffs is completely absurd.

Barkley has gambled a lot of money. He has probably gambled quite a bit on basketball games. Barkley has lost a lot of money. Barkley does not know how to pick winners. BUT he does sometimes pick good football. I don't remember the situation, but I think it might have been Auburn vs Florida. It was lopsided one way at halftime, and he said it would totally flip because of several reasons. With such a lopsided game it didn't seem possible. But in the end he was right.
