Maybe not a legend at this point,but who knows how far he will go?It sounded like Art was saying that Bubba is going to help us a lot in recruiting as well as teaching right off the bat.

Count yourself lucky, you're getting a quality education for cheaper than 70% of schools out there.

Seriously, UH is still quite affordable and yet people still b**** and complain.

If you want to save money, go to TSU or some other 'lesser' school...may be even take most of your core courses at HCC and then transfer to UH and finish up your degree there.

I'm a Cougar, but McDowell is not a legend. Earl Cambell, Warren Moon, Elvin Bethea, Mike Munchak and Bruce Matthews; now those are some Oiler legends!
