did anyone see the last 6 secs of this game? nelson ties it with 5.9 then howard jumps from the middle the key to block parker's shot with .8 left. turkoglu inbounds the ball from near half court as an alley oop to howard who jams it in with .2 left and the W this guy is crazy athletic and good imagine if he ever develops an actual lost post game
Awesome buzzer beater throw down...Howard's a beast. The Spurs really lack athleticism. That was spectacular, but everytime I see something like that I think of Seattle's alleyoop to Derrick McKey....can't help it.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!! What a play! WOW! Duncan went to sleep. If I'm not mistaken, you cannot catch and shoot with 0.2 seconds left. The only option the Magic had was an alley-oop slam. The Magic closed the game with a 9-1 run in the last 1:50. I can't believe the Spurs let this one get away to a slumping Orlando Magic.
Yeah I heard about this and can't wait to see the highlights. That's just sick. Plus, Spurs lost so it's 10x better.
Yep, that was nice. It was his first buzzer beating shot. What a great one to have, a one handed alley-oop slam. Great to see a div. rival lose.
Wow, that's the second time this seson a game winning shot has been made with less than 0.3 seconds (David Lee tipped in a shot for NY with 0.1 secs earlier). I always had thought less than 0.3 secs left then ballgame is over because they don't let you catch and shoot, but with the tip/dunk I guess its possible. If I was defending that play I would put my tallest guy all over the inbounder because as great as the tip/dunk is it also needs a near perfect pass to work.
As someone corrected me earlier in this thread, the clock was reset from 0.2 back to 0.8 seconds before the Magic inbounded the ball.

remember the clippers game when yao ended up taking a fadeaway 3?? man why can't we do some play like this when we have a 7-6 center?
Yao's not gonna get up that high, for one thing. Turko made a perfect pass, kept it away from Duncan, just in the right spot for Howard. Wow.
I agree with most of your posts, but I have to disagree with you on this one. Turkoglu threw a bad pass, too high and left (Brian Hill, Michael Finley, Brent Barry said that) and Dwight is the only guy in the history of mankind that could have made that play. If you watch that play carefully he even had to dodge Duncan, the pass was behind him so he jumped late and he still made the spectacular dunk. I don't think any human being could even touch that ball with their fingertips unless they were running full speed (maybe Lebron and Josh Smith of Atlanta) Dwight jumped from a stationary position. Duncan had no chance yesterday and he wouldn't have had a chance 3 years ago. Duncan saw it coming the whole way.
