Let's say you meet a Girl [or Guy]

she is a 10 . . everything you want her to be physically
    but
You find out it is all through surgery etc

Does it *really* matter to you ?

Let's take it a step further
she is Mentally and Personality wise everything you want as well
Would the fact that she got a 'help' to look that way . . . Matter

    By and Large
I have come to the conclusion no one gives a d*mn about the process of things
    only that they are

No one cares how you got to looking good. . . just as long as you look good

not that big of a deal if it's only her boobs, and they're not TOO big. i prefer women who work on their own bodies as opposed to having someone else work on them.

It depends a great deal on how much help she has had. For example, boob job, nose job, facelift, lip thing, all fine. But at the end of the day if she slides her face off , puts her hair on a shelf , stacks her arms by the door and puts her head in a drawer, we got a problem.

    You know what I mean.

It does take away if they have had major work.

Well, I just can't get in to fake jubblies. They don't look right and they don't feel right to me. And I don't know about the rest of the board. I've had no personal experience, but surgically constructed vaginas are *definitely* a turn off for me.

I put no, but I guess it would depend on what it was...meaning, how drastic...If we're just talking a nose job and boobs, ok...but anything more, well, it depends...

I'm still on my quest to find the perfect woman, but that doesn't necessarily mean looks, but more intelligence, and compatibility...And be ablle to put up with my crap... :D

Let me be the first to throw out the prerequisite 'This thread is worthless w/out pics' statement.

My opinion? If I didn't know until she told me, and she had a great personality, we were really compatible, etc. then I probably wouldn't mind. That would be remotely similar to breaking up w/ a girl who you find out used to be very overweight when she was younger but now isn't. I'm also assuming if it was a lot of surgery I would probably notice and would be turned off to start with.

I agree (and love the fact that my girl doesn't need to wear makeup)...however, there are exceptions.

Friend of mine in college: she's cool as hell, absolutely smoking bod, great hair, eyes, lips the whole package....EXCEPT she had a brutally huge nose. The kind of nose that made you occasionally think to yourself a) "Damn, that's a big nose." and b) "What a shame." She would have been a knockout otherwise.

I've broken my nose 3 times (futbol, football, f**kup...would eventually like to have it worked on, for breathability & slight cosmetic issues. Is that wrong? ;)

    What about mole/birthmark/scar removal?

    Teeth straightening? Whitening?

If a girl has very small breasts & is self-conscious about it, I can understand getting a boob job. I generally don't like fakes though.

The facelift, tightening, lifting, botox, collagen stuff usually ends up looking bad, bad, bad. And people usually don't stop with one proceedure, it's an addiction.

fer a few moments of pleasure it really doesn't matter how she came to be sexy ... as long as she was born a she!

if i'm thinking settle down and kids ... unfortunately the surgery won't be passed along. shallow, i know, but i'd rather forgo the ugly ass kids.

I wouldn't date someone whose self-esteem was low enough to butcher herself. I mean, unless we're talking that split-lip condition or something serious, there's nothing that the right hairstyle and flattering clothes can't make attractive.

Not to mention that dropping a few grand to "fix" a perfectly good nose or set of breasts is one of the most outrageous ways to waste money.

    The kids angle is interesting
My Ex's sister had braces. . . he teeth were JACKED
now. . . if you had not met her PRE BRACES you would not know
until the kids came . ..

    But
We all say it is shallow to base something on a person on their looks
I would not dismiss a person either way
    but
It would definately be a kind of turn off
It would not be SEEN as . . as good . .as if she had done it naturally

Woman who works on herself > natural beauty > unnatural beauty
If a woman works on herself. . .to an extent it says something about her personality and determination

I'm not talking about the obvious defects etc fixes
    I'm talking pure wholesale vanity

I'd hate to be stuck w/ the upkeep costs if she's one of the yearly makeover people.

in this case, change my vote from "Depends on why they did it" to "Yes"

if it wasn't for birth defects, or maybe a hideous injury that needed to be fixed... just for wholesale vanity, then chances are the girl has more problems than her looks to begin with.
