Damon Jones over Luther Head, you have to be freaking kidding me. I can understand the other guys because of Kapono's off the charts shooting percentage and everyone else's name recognition, but Jones over Luther is total crap.

damon jones is actually a quite good spot-up 3pt shooter. i think he made 10-12 3ptr in a game while back in miami.
Luther is 113/255 for .445. Damon is 85/214 for .397. Luther is one of the top 3 point shooters in the league in the 4th quarter and is doing it for a Western Conference team with a better record.
WTF, where is Luther. Jason Kapono is a scrub who hasn't even hit as many 3's as Luther... The NBA has no love for the Rockets... Two Dallas Mavericks and only one of them deserves it when the other hasn't done anything this season.
no one questioning that he's a good 3pt shooter, but you're using data from 2 yrs ago...this year Mr. Tina Thompson is #27 in 3pt FG# while Luther is #7 it's a friggin joke...not only doesn't Luther get in...a tool like Damon gets in, that guy is an annoying black version of Andy Dick.
as much as it is a farce that luther isn't in the competition, i am hoping that arenas shoots his 3s one-handed like he did against stevenson. I know it was from the college 3, but still, it would be awesome.

I'm disappointed luther didn't make but I don't think he would have performed well since his shot isn't super fast. that being said you have to at least be happy that damon jones is glad to be selected and wants to be there unlike some other dickheads.... ehhhemm tyrus thomas...
the nba wants to put on a show with big names and big personalties. no room for quiet unknown luther. a better way to get people excited over the shooting contest is to actually put out the best shooters in the league so fans don't have to watch gilbert arenas struggle to score 12/30.
