Christians Tailgate in Midtown has cheap HH, 5 dollar pitchers I think. Their burgers rule too. The Tavern on W. Gray always has cheap drinks. 5 dollar pitchers itll 9. They have a steak night on Sunday and Wednesday, good steaks. El Tiempo is fun, platinum maragritas will kick your butt. Pub Fiction has good happy hours. Especially Monday and Tuesday if I recall correctly. Aztecas on Richmond near The Davenport has $1 margaritas till 7 I think, and cheap fajitas. Their drinks are meh though. I would rather go to a nice place with a good crowd and good food than a place with cheap drinks though. I prefer Ibiza on Louisiana, although I go there way too often b/c I live across the street, Catalan in the Heights, Indika or Dolce Vita on Elgin, or like I said earlier El Tiempo. Mi Luna has cheap sangria on Tuesday I think. Half off pitchers which are normally 28-30 bucks. It may be Thursday, but I am pretty sure its Tuesday. Warrens in Downtown has cheap drinks all the time, and they make them stong as hell! I was there before the Minnesota game on Monday, I think I paid 4.50 for a crown with literaly a splash of coke. Two of those will get you pretty lit. I like to drink
Good call on Zake, I already hit that up once a week for happy hour. Good atmosphere and nice sushi and drink specials before 7:00. I haven't found a place I like more for HH. I loooove El Tiempo, but they don't have much for HH specials. Molinas has decent deals with a buck off their ritas and free queso.
warrnen's is a kick-ass place with stiff, cheap drinks.... a buddy and i almost sniped us a cougar there after a black crowes concert a few years back. good times. edit: taco milagro seems to be a popular spot, but i'm not a big happy hour fan.
