First of all I would like to thank all of you who have supported the Sixers. The fans have been amazing. The players too. We almost completed a task seen as impossible not long ago. We won the championship from what was known as the weak east. What we accomplished last season, and the effort we put forward in this series should indicate that the final is not won in the WCF, it is all down to the final play in the NBA finals.

For all the fun we have had together over the last couple of seasons it is with great sorrow I announce that The 76ers have decided to move along the players that made all this happen.

In a trade with Orlando Magic last seasons MVP Shawn Marion is traded for rookie sensation Pau Gasol, along in that deal goes Maurice Taylor who had a short but fruitful stint in Philly. He will play in New York as Magic sent him along to Knicks for Michael Dickerson. We also get Magic' 1st rounder in this deal.

Clifford Robinson, who came from Magic last season will be playing next season in Boston as Reggie Miller comes to play for the 76ers. This trade made it apparent that one of my guards had to be moved, and for all the good Gary have been doing over his 2 year stint here he has been stuck out of position. Valiant effort today Gary. I wish you all the best in New Jersey. Coming in from Nets is Antonio McDyess and Scott Pollard. Draft picks were also exchanged.

Finally it comes to no surprise that the league have selected two players to go to the common draft. These players are Aaron McKie and Michael Olowokandi who has only been here a couple of months, but will be missed none the less. I hope the new players coming in can bring a lot of excitement back to Philadelpia and I can promise all the fans that I will do my best to get us back to the Finals next season.

*Massive cheers from the crowd are heard*

Finally I want to congratulate The Utah Jazz for making this into a hell of a series. The best team won. Congrats Utah. Congrats BGM. Thank you all. Go 76ers.

Thank you for the kind words Heath.

For a long time, I bashed the East, when you spoke of random schedules, I ignored you, when you reminded me of the past championship, I ignored you. I have a new appreciation for the Eastern conference after this hard fought final series. Your team is truly one of the greatest to be assembled in CC.net history. I salute you, and your conference...

Now I'd like to give props to a few players on my team that helped pull this season out.

John Stockton, you and I have been through a lot. This league started, and all I wanted to do was trade you. I finally traded you for scraps, and I found that the old saying is true, you don't know what you have until it's gone. I'm happy that after a long season and a half without you, that I managed to get you back in the end. You won game 7 for me, and I will be forever grateful for the desire you showed during the playoffs, now you finally got your ring Whitey...

Next, I'd like to thank Grant Hill for being the leader of the team. Your consistent play throughout the season is all could ever count on Grant. You're a warrior...

The final player I'd like to thank is Mr. Diop. I drafted you as a boy, and you ended the season as NBA Finals MVP. Not in my wildest dreams, did I expect you to become so dominant at such a young age. Congratulations on your first step to the CC.net Hall of Fame...

I'd also like to thank my fellow GM's for putting up with my trash talk, what can I say? I like to talk...

Thank you Pued, Raven, VOR, DV, vj, and Fade for ignoring your overall hate for the real Jazz, and rooting for the BGJazz. Your support is what helped me go on in this league.

Finally, it's time for me to reveal the major news that I promised in this speech. I thought for a couple weeks what I would do if I won it all. Should I dismantle my team? Should I stick with what I have and try to repeat? What should I do?

Well one night, I realized what I would do if I won it all. Tonight, with a heavy heart, I am announcing my retirement. I will no longer GM the Jazz because I can not bear seeing my players leave. I want to go out on top, and I feel like my mission has finally been accomplished. I was planning on doing this for a couple weeks now, I only shared this plan with Raven, and now I'd like to thank him for not narcing on me.

Tonight, the night that I won it all, I will relinquish control of the Jazz, leaving them for hopefully a new GM. I'd like to at least have some say in who gets to GM my team next, and maybe ask for a front office job. I wish all of my players and the future GM luck in the future. This league is at it's strongest, and repeating will be a most difficult task.

Thank you Cat for such a kickass league.

Now I must depart...so I will end with these final words...

BGM is requesting that Zac take over the reins as the primary Jazz GM, and he will remain as a consultant. I won't make this official now, but assuming BGM doesn't change his mind, I will make it effective as of next week.

On my final night as Jazz GM, I request that you, Zac D, shall take my place as GM of the newly crowned champions.

Will you accept my offer Zac?

Congrats BGM! Also, I respect your decision on a Jordanesque way to go out.

Speaking of...isn't there some wild rumor that MJ is returning? ;)
Maybe one day BGM will do the same.

Vor, Heath, and bgm have too long been a thorn in my side. Hopefully with the greatest player of all time, Washington can take that extra step.

    Oh, and congrats bgm.

Actually I'm not surprised to see you leave BGM, I kind of expected it. You built your speech up so much, that it had to be something big. I tried my best to postpone your departure one more season, but it didnt help to contain your usual suspects to subpar or par games, when Stockton and Martin rose to the occation.

Btw Zac - you do know that you now are responsible for the Midwest Web page. :D In that area you can't do worse than BGM :p

    WOW.

    What?

    Band Geek Mobster is gone?

Removed from The Cat's sim league?

Here come's the demise of Clutch's little board here.

    :)

Really though, totally caught me off guard.

Sorry to see you go, BGM.

You're just bitter that you traded away the NBA Finals MVP for Larry "No Shot" Hughes...

I would like to extend belated congratulations to you BGM - your team displayed superior computer programmed heart, and defined the essence of a sim champion. Though said to see you go, I was at least glad that my faith in Sagana Diop was not misplaced.

    Congrats.
