Well that's part of the joke. The added humor was the fact that they chose such a stupid way to prove their manliness.

Dumb issue.[rquoter]"This type of jeering from professional sports figures at the sight of two men kissing fuels the kind of anti-gay bullying that haunts countless gay and lesbian school children on playgrounds all across the country," Human Rights Campaign president Joe Solmonese said in a statement.[/rquoter] We have "countless" gay and lesbian school children??? COUNTLESS???? WTF kind of bowl of chili-fed sh*t is THAT???!?!??? WHO THE HECK did that research? Wow. :(

This was the ONLY commercial I actually laughed at.

This is stupid. That was the best commercial from the SuperBowl and the only one I was looking forward to seeing again.

If it were two girls, nobody would have said a thing.

And yes, I'm rolling my eyes because I'm comfortable with my sexuality.

I don't care either way regarding the controversy, but I thought that was a lame commercial.
The "axe/chainsaw" commercial was much better.
