What makes your butt itch

    I'd really like to know this...wondering for quite sometime. It might only be me (which I doubt, but it would be really embarrassing)...I'm not sure. All I know is, I'm sitting there in class and my butt starts to itch uncontrollably. Basically, every part that's touching the chair through my clothes. I try to stay still but the feeling just intensifies. I'm shifting uncomfortably, trying to nonchalantly rub my bum, I'm assuming it looks like I'm rubbing something off the pocket of my jeans. It just comes out of nowhere and it DRIVES ME INSANE. I had 2 classes before then and there was no problem. The randomness of the situation is very frustrating, and it makes it very hard to concentrate. I wonder what it's caused by...? :confused:

    i think its the sensitivity of ur butt going numb and the feeling rushing back to it.

    Hey...that's probably it. I'd been sitting for pretty much 4 hours straight, so I can definitely understand it going numb. Kinda prickles a bit too, which is what might cause the intense itching.
