This idea is stolen from another board, but it's confession time. Be men (or women) and let's share. I have a mancrush on Justin Timberlake. I'm currently watching The Sound of Music for the first time with my wife. I'm very much enjoying it (it's intermission). There's a Celine Dion song I like. Now, I'm sure I'm going to be the only person to post here.
One of my favorite all time movies is When Harry met Sally. In my defense, its partly because I think Meg Ryan is/was hot. I'm the laziest productive person I know. I've completed less than 10 fiction books in my adult life and half of them are the Harry Potter books. I attended less than a quarter of all my college classes at UT and did less than 20 percent of my homework assignments.
RM, that's pretty gay. Of course, I have no problem listening to gay music. I guess my gayest movie would have to be "Xanadu." I freaking love that soundtrack.
i have a mancrush on nick thomas lead singer of the spill canvas.. and i told him that my favorite movie is a walk to remember i listen to emo music.. all the time
I saw "Titanic" more than a few times and know the words to "My heart will go on". Does that make me gay even though I'm married?
While it isn't my favorite movie, I totally was going to post that I have it on DVD and have watched it several times.
i love the movie "french kiss" starring meg ryan and kevin kline i just had an hour and 45 minute phone conversation with a girl.... and she isn't the girl i'm currently seeing...
I like Celine Dion's That's The Way It Is. I also like the new Hillary Duff song: <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/eOvMkldfsV0"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/eOvMkldfsV0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
I play Polly Pockets with my daughters. If I didn't like Doritos and Dr. Pepper so much, I wouldn't be so fat. I hate coffee. In college, I won Intramural Coed Pairs Horseshoes, even though I nutted in the finals... my partner, who I asked to play on a lark because I found her attractive, hit her only 3 ringers during the last match. Even though we won, all I got was an ugly t-shirt and a hug. When I shook hands with Reggie White, I could only mumble incoherently because he had the biggest damn hands I have ever seen and they literally came up beyond my wrists... I felt like a 3 yo. I was once in an Austin nightclub filled to the brim with babes. In walks Earl Campbell. I didn't look at a chick for about an hour because he had the hugest thighs I have ever seen and I couldn't look away as he danced. Thankfully, there were several other guys under the same spell. I still have a more vivid image of Earl Campbell dancing then I do of some of my college-era um, amorous partners.
Most of this stuff my friends already know, some are just waiting for the right moment to be brought up. I will watch You've Got Mail whenever it comes on (Meg Ryan is cute, we get it). Hackers (pre-famous Angelina Jolie) is one of my favorite movies. Hall & Oates rule (Whoa oh here she comes). I love Three's Company (Jack Tripper ftw). I shave my toe hair (I just don't like looking at it when I wear sandals). I follow Project Runway (Heidi > *). I like leafing through interior design and architecture magazines (Dwell the most). I used to think Meredith Viera was kinda hot (she actually seems pretty fun for her age). That last one is hella embarassing. Kind of falls in line w/ the Racquel Welch thread. Oh yeah, I guess I'd do Racquel Welch.
now that i think about it, i probably like about 6 or 7 celine dion songs. that's more than i thought it was and not gonna look good on the man card, if i can even keep it. even that stupid "power of love" song. it's not even uptempo and i like it (and i pretty much listen to anything uptempo which would cause me to list a lot of stuff worse than celine right here). i kind of actively hate myself for listening to it while i listen to it. after initially not liking all the hype it got, i watched Titanic about a year ago on hbo and realized it's actually a really good movie. i've been watching american idol this season. never thought i would but i've been enjoying the trainwrecks and simon's followups to said trainwrecks. i cheated on a lot of tests at UT, starting in my sophomore year. if there was any practical way to do it, and there were at least 2 out of our group of 5 or 6 who were in on it in a given class, we pretty much cheated. engineering tests, accounting tests, whatever. no stealing the answers beforehand type of stuff, unless you count having old tests in which case i had seen all 50 questions on our marketing final beforehand and could answer every question by reading about 5 words (but then some people actually finished before me so i'm guessing a lot of people had those tests), just in-test things (type in your calculator, trade answers back and forth (the most dangerous thing we did), look off a neighbor when we didn't have to have a seat between us), but man, it was pretty bad. i kind of concurrently think it was cool that we did so much but feel bad that we did so much. didn't really give anyone a better grade, we just worked less hard (the guys who would get A's w/o cheating got A's with cheating, the guys who mixed A's and B's mixed A's and B's with cheating). granted i'm sure a lot of people cheated in college, but man, probably not as often or as bad as we did. anyway, i didn't do any of it in grad school, but that's just mainly b/c everyone in my ChE ring didn't go to grad school and the culture is different in grad school (at least it seemed to be) and i wouldn't have known how to get anyone else to do it anyway.
my favourite movie is the notebook and i model myself after james lafferty i cheated on a guy's chick a few years ago and then she lost her virginity to me and i told him i listen to emo music to help me feel better about a long lost girl i have a crush on my female friend right now who i really shouldnt be falling in love with and finally i'm a HUGE one tree hill fan
