You all should be saving any refund...Better yet adjust your W-2 so you don't pay anything or get back anything...This is you're hard earned money...

Ok, I'm done with preaching...for now...

haha why's that? You don't know what anyone's been saving.. so you don't know what we should do with our refund. If we've already saved enough, no big deal if you spend this.

Anyway, gonna buy a budget 37" LCD HDTV...the rest will be "saved" but will probably end up going towards one of my trips this year.

I'll probably get enough back to buy a week's worth of groceries.

So what is the general income cut off for getting a refund? I made more money than I had anticipated and am afraid of not getting anything back...

Yes, I'm too lazy to fill out the form right now. Don't want to get hopes up yet.

It has nothing to do with how much money you make. You'll have to fill everything out to find out.

It's better than giving the government an interest free loan.

Exactly...I owed last year, but that's because I didn't change my W-2 after the divorce...I hope to be even this year...

I've never understood why some are so bothered by this. Won't you still have the same amount of money in your pocket at the end of the year? What's the problem with the gov making some interest off of it?

Depending on the amount (say 3000) you get yourself 100 bucks.
