The guy has such potential and talent. After watching him at the game and before the game, I don't think he is very motivated. He may well be like Robert Horry - drives you crazy because he could be very good and is at times, but doesn't love the game enough. He was talking with the Trail Blazers too long when he should have been practicing before the game. Did not look like he was getting ready for anything but practice at WEstside to me.

Cato plays mediocre until something gets him motivated and fired up. The fans can help by yelling for him when he does something good. If you can get him excited, he plays like crazy.

So, either Rudy and staff need to be a little rougher on him to motivate him or while his trade value is pretty high use him and maybe Walt to get someone else.

It would be nice if he would motivate himself. Have a desire to improve and be a presence out there.

Can't believe I said this. I was so high on him at the start of the season.

He needs to start with the Francis,Cat,Anderson,Rogers lineup for now.I think a trade is imminent.(not of Cato)

Cato said that he wants to come off the bench. He said he plays better when he comes off the bench because there's not as much pressure on him. Cato, when coming off the bench, has played much better than when he was a starter on this team. I thought Cato played pretty well tonight. He had 7 points, 6 rebounds, and played good defense and swatted 3 shots.

He got those stats in a short amount of time (later in the game it seems like). Where was he the rest of the game?

I just wasn't impressed. We do need him for now, I agree with Dream out and Hamilton just a rookie. Unless he starts getting motivated by maybe next season I use him to help get a big time power forward, depending on what happens in the draft and any other trades.
