Anyone else have a feeling in their heart about this season?

What's the feeling? Positive? Negative?

 

So vague.. sure, I've had a 'feeling'. I've had many feelings in fact. Lol

This past offseason was the most unbearable ever for me to get through. I always think the next Rockets season is gonna be special, and I always think they're gonna be awesome. This past offseason, though, I was really, really getting excited. I believed before this one started that it was gonna be their most successful for a long time and that it would be special. This season is gonna be big. "Win Now" is happening.

 

I had a feeling that this season is gonna be our season

and two minutes ago, I had a feeling that this thread is gonna be locked soon..

 

Same here, even before the season started I had a feeling it was going to be a good season with a fully-healthy Yao and T-mac (which we still haven't been able to witness yet).The sky's the limit when those two are clicking, the only thing I didn't expect was for Yao to get hurt again, I literally dropped my jaw when I saw him go down screaming. I knew T-Mac's back was going to flare up again...that was inevitable. Questions: Do ya think he's going to aggravate his back again? Personally I don't...maybe just a slight tweak here or there but nothing major...all thanks to Dr. Patterson! However, I didn't expect the Rockets to respond so well and play so great after Yao went down. I can only drool when I try to imagine how good they're going to be when he get's back. Is it just me or are the Rox playing like they have a chip on their shoulder? Like they have something to prove?

The rest of the league...beware...the Rockets are slowly making some serious noise!

And oh yeah, one of the reasons why I thought this season was going to be good was because of how Yao responded after coming back from his foot injury in the summer, just completely dominating the FIBA tournament.

And even though I responded to this thread, I agree to the in before the lock. We've already endured through enough bad luck as it is, no need to jinx our good fortune.

 

Yeah, every time V-Span steps on the court it cringes at the thought of how his every move will be magnified exponentially.

When ever I hear someone start talking about the Rockets, IT moves.

I have the feeling that the rockets are in the top 3 teams in basketball when at full strength. Yes, they are better than the Spurs.

And that anyone in the top 3 teams in the NBA can win it all if they play well when it counts.

 

Yes, I am starting to feel positive about this season. Should the Rox manage to go undefeated in february or lose no more than one or two, preferably one, coupled with Yao's return and soon re-emergence back on the season and T-Mac looking like dominant T-Mac for the first time in a while, yeah it's ok to say it. The only team that can remotely stop this Rocket machine once it's firing on all cylinders is maybe Phoenix but hey, they still dont play much defense and that usually spells disaster in the latter rounds of the playoffs.

We need one of those big time winning streaks to really get us going 12 or 15 or more to legitimize our contending hopes IMO.

When Yao comes back from his injury, he's going to come back with a vengeance. If the Clipps have to play us once he's back I would be afraid, very afraid.

i got this uncanny ability to f____ up a rockets season just with my positive thoughts.....its really weird!!!!!!
