Alright, I'll preface this by saying I've never watched more than about 30 seconds of a Miss America pageant while flipping channels.. but I found out there's a local person there. I vaguely knew her in high school (read: met her a few times and she probably wouldn't remember me, so I'm not claiming any association) But she did go to Clements HS. Holy crap, I remember that girl from Clements vaguely as well. Wasn't friends with her, but big theater person if I recall correctly. I think she graduated around the same time I did as well ('99). So that's makes 2 of us who vaguely remember her from HS, but claim no assocation!
same here, i remember her. I was a slacker soccer player so i didnt really talk to her, but her last name stands out and is one that i could always remember. She was always in the local sugarland papers for one award or performance or another. I saw bits and pieces of the show cos my girl was watching it, i wished i saw more of it. How was Miss Wyoming?

not that i think you're serious, but i think they said she was the first black Miss Texas. (this was during the first 20 mins while I watched to see if Miss Indiana made it to the final 10, haha)
