Houston currently need an upgrade at point and some depth. Snyder should not get traded because when healthy he is the only player who can athletically get to the free throw line on a braken play. He needs to stay

We also need a back up 4/5 we can get that with trade exception and or Suras' contract. Padgett is also tradeable, but we do not need a big splash we are already a very good team we are not 100% healthy partailly unfair to judge us in comparison to Pheonix and Dallas. I'll tell you something else right now we are big enough to beat Dallas they needed to put Devon George at the five to beat us.

Another thing we need is better coaching Jeff seems like he sees something wrong yet he wants to hold on to his timeouts he has to do a better job at calling his timeouts early when they have a lead to make quick adjustments and keep the momentum. Did a bad job in the Dallas game did a good job in the San Antonio.

Is there anyone potentially available who could be a help defender out on the perimeter against KG/Dirk and could also rebound/shotblock?

I like Jared Jeffries but I don't think Sura and Padgett will get it done. Kirilenko unfortunately is out of the question.

Well, he hasn't really gotten off to a good start for NY. I was thinking they may want to erase a mistake and take the expirings. I'd throw them a 2nd rounder too or perhaps a first rounder in 2008.

Hmmm, with the way that Isiah Thomas seems to hate David Lee, any chance of prising him off Thomas?

Morey has planted the seed for a 'random trade thread', but who can go through a thousand pages to see if Najera - Sura is already mentioned. Nugs with too many bigs, too big a cap number.

    Thanco de Eduardo!

    This Trade Succeeded!

    Seattle SuperSonics

    Incoming Players

    Bonzi Wells
    Salary: $2,115,000 Years Remaining: 1
    PTS: 7.4 REB: 4.1 AST: 1.2 PER: 8.46

    Kirk Snyder
    Salary: $1,537,440 Years Remaining: 2
    PTS: 4.2 REB: 1.7 AST: 1.3 PER: 12.19

    Bob Sura
    Salary: $3,840,000 Years Remaining: 2

    Scott Padgett
    Salary: $744,551 Years Remaining: 1
    PTS: 2.0 REB: 2.0 AST: 0.3 PER: 5.11

    Outgoing Players: Rashard Lewis

    Houston Rockets

    Incoming Players

    Rashard Lewis
    Salary: $9,350,649 Years Remaining: 3
    PTS: 21.9 REB: 6.8 AST: 2.4 PER: 22.07

Outgoing Players: Bonzi Wells, Kirk Snyder, Bob Sura, Scott Padgett

The Sonics can cut Padgett and Sura cheap, Padgett is a FA anyway, and Sura has a teamp option. They can use Snyder to replace Lewis cheap and he just has a team option after next year.

Wells can be used to replace Lewis this year and just has that player option for next year.

Throw in our first round pick.

    Get it done Morey.

For Jared Jeffries? You kidding me? I remember the guy from IU and he wasn't that good. He came out early and was drafted on "potential", which he hasn't displayed since coming into the NBA. I laughed when Zeke offered him that contract.

Jeffries isn't a very good NBA player. He's a career 6/5 guy who shoots a low FG% and FT% and hasn't improved at all in 4 NBA seasons. His defense is overrated. When Jeffries is 30, he will be no different than he is now. No way I give up a 1st round draft choice for him. With his contract I wouldn't take him for free. Any free agent the Zeke gives the MLE to should be considered radioactive. Think JJ & JJ (Jerome James and Jared Jeffries).

Gazuridch from the bucks can be had for the right price. he is a atheletic big who hustles and gets a few boards. ideal backup for deke. guys like Foster and lee are pipedreams. foster plays an integral part in the paers defense. he gets the boards which lets O'neal concentrate on offense. he is the perfect complementry player for Jumaine.

Like everybody else here I love Deke, but fourty year old players getting a lot of physical minutes are prone to injury. I see a minor trade for a big who I hope never plays, unless Deke is needed for a ribbon cutting ceremony in Africa.
