Well guys and gals, it looks like I'm finally getting married. We are looking for honeymoon/vacation packages but can't really decide on a cruise or just a plane trip somewhere. There are perks on both sides but it looks like we are leaning toward a trip to Vegas. I believe every human being should visit Vegas at least one time. So, any information so I don't get screwed when I purchase this package would be EXTREMELY helpfull. Any websites, people I can call, places I can call, any actual people I can talk to face to face and get a good deal, basically anything. Thanks in advance!!

I wouldn't have my honeymoon in Vegas unless you were planning to get married there. It's not that romantic.

Now if you plan to get married there, its a different story. You can get one of the wedding packages where everything is taken care of for you. Its so cheesy and fun. I got married there and there is nothing like waiting in line to get married with Elvis nearby.

I would do the Caribbean/ Mexico resort thing if you are looking a relatively inexpensive way to do it.

Stay away from cruises... they're floating petri dishes.

It's not for nothing that the Centers for Disease Control have a Vessel Sanitation Program...

You can get outbreak info, inspection scores, and other nifty info on their web site.

Hmmm, well, we wanted to get married here then go somewhere. The idea of getting married in Vegas is not really what my fiance had in mind. She has always wanted to visit Vegas though. I wonder if they would have any honeymoon suites over there???
