I dont know if this has been mentioned but at one point, it might have been when he joined the Bulls, Rodman wanted to wear number 69 and the League wouldnt let him.
Who cares about the #. Only time you need to worry about a number is when a player makes that number. To me Mj made his #, T-mac made his ( in my opinion ), Gilbert made his, Lebron ( sponser chose his ), etc. Anyway in the case of 99% of the players in the nba who cares about the number.
Why does everyone care so much about numbers? I couldn't even tell you what number TMac or Yao wears without looking it up, and I watch EVERY Game. One of them wears 4, I think? Aside from Hakeem's 34 and Jordans 23 (I think Quitten wore 33?) I can't tell you anyone's jersey number. It's just a number. Pretty insignificant to me.
that's kinda odd. i don't particularly care, but watching the games just burns those #'s in your head. I mean you stare at a guy enough on TV or live...it just sticks. who DOEsn't know #50 Matt Bullard?
Chris Webber thinks he's gonna catch 120 balls for 1800 yards this season. I liked the #91 and #0 #77 and #76 weren't bad either, they just looked appropriate on the players. But #84 looks horrible, almost as bad as Artest #93 But by far the worst jersey in the league was Scott Pollard's #62 a while back.
According to the commercial he put out not tto long ago, it's because there are 24 seconds on the shot clock. His personal pledge to play all-out every second of every game. You know, with the exception of those moments where he gets picked off on a pick-and-roll and ends up watching his man throw down a rim rattler from 19 feet out.
