What is long overdue, has just happened. GWB read from the Koran and defended Muslims domestically and abroad by seperating these terrorists groups from those who are true to the Muslim faith. I am not a GWB supporter but I am fully, at this time, behind this administration. He is growing into his role and I feel much better about our direction than when this crisis first took place.

I didn't see/hear this, but that was a very good move by Mr. Bush. Unfortunately there will be enough dumbasses out there that will probably attack anything that even remotely "looks Muslim".

I think there is a lot of unfair criticism towards George W. Bush because he is obviously not the most intelligent man to be in the White House (probably and understatement)

But what I do respect is that he has always fared well in bringing different groups together and not alienating political parties, opponents or racial/ethnic groups. In Texas, a diverse state that has been predominantly Democrat, he unified many groups of people and he seems to be doing the same. Instead of trying to make every decision and control everything himself, he seems to use his very intelligent, experienced group of individuals around him.

One of my main Qualms with Clinton was that he was constantly Media hungry and because he was extremely intelligent he tried to do everything himself, which in the case of US politics, is next to impossible.

I think Bush can be a very good and capable president because of those abilities to forge alliances. After all his skills to bring people together allowed him to get a strong percentage ownership in the Texas Rangers, which allowed him to get into politics.

I agree 100% Doc. Down here where I live, some idiot got arrested for threatening phone messages to Muslims. What kind of a sick piece of garbage would you have to be to think "some freaks from overseas killed thousands of people, they must ALL be involved!" If that were the case, every black and white guy would be a murderer.
