He is a good interviewer but his voice, tone, and facial expressions made it impossible for me to watch the show.
its just one of the many failures on espn. the only shows that really work on espn are news/commentary/analysis type shows. The programs that involve athletes tend to be quite boring, quite frankly. you aren't interviewing politicians are people who have something important to say. adding to that you have to find a different sports personality five nights a week. its doomed from the beginning.
SAS is an intelligent guy, but I can't stand people who use shticks to make a name for themselves. If he would just make his points without the theatrics and hyperbole I would probably like him. I only saw a portion of Quite Frankly one time and had no interest in that show at all. There are only a few athletes I care to follow beyond the court or off the field and the internet has enough info for me.
I watched two episodes during the season and liked it. Then it sucked. He starts rambling about crap no ones cares about. Lots of the things are at best marginally related to basketball.
