They have a couple Cowboy cheerleaders, but you're right that they're missing out not doing the tennis hotties.

You don't know the printing business very well.

$75 for one is actually very reasonable.

Call up any printing shop and get a quote for a 6'x4' full color poster. It will be in the hundreds.

Most of the oversized posters on postercheckout.com are around $50 and they are smaller than the fatheads and that price is with no with no cut out. http://www.postercheckout.com/PictureGroup.asp?SCategory=Oversized&CategoryID=61

yeah but I would think the economies of scale afforded to fathead (since they produce thounsands of these things) would lower the price a bit more than that of a custom made poster in a print shop.

Again look at the oversized poster prices. They are the same deal.

aside from the fact my father made a living selling paper to printers, you're right. but these aren't all custom jobs, as sam said. they have very few prints, anyway.

it just seems high to me. it's more than i'm willing to pay, by a long shot, for my 6 year old son's room. particularly when the alternative, a poster, sells for about $6. and yes, i recognize that these are far nicer than a poster...just not that much nicer, to me.

molgity -- that's kinda my point. the market here is young kids, primarily. this seems a bit excessive for that.

nice but that version might be out of print or have an IP issue.

I see a lot of bigger posters selling for 40$ or less.

Hey. I would love to have a Tmac in my bar / cpu room.

But I think if you took good care of these things they would kick ass for ever. Your kid will love it way more in 25 years than he does now.
