    I hate the cold. Tis one of my biggest gripes about the northeast. Gimme hot weather any day and everyday.

    Bottom Line ::

    See how much fun people have in Houston in June as opposed to people in Vermont in December. Case closed.

    Houston in June isn't that hot (compared to Phoenix in July, say) and skiing in Vermont is damn good fun, as are a bunch of other Winter things that are impossible in Houston.

    I love the cold. I was in Aspen a few weeks ago during the nightime walking around in a t-shirt and shorts on my way to the gym - not a problem. I'll take really cold over really hot anyday.

    its in mid 30s. this isn't extreme cold.

    i always remembered every winter having a few days of lows in the mid 20s. we haven't even hit 20s yet this year (i dont believe).

    I think the best way to figure this out is to decide: would you rather freeze to death or overheat (there's got to be a better word for this) to death.

    Despite all my hatred for humid heat here in Florida, and my perspiration that rivals Niagra Falls, I'd rather suffer in the heat.

    Yeah after watching Everest: Beyond the Limit, I think I'll take the extreme heat over extreme cold. Both can be uncomfortable, but it just seems that the cold is a whole other level of discomfort.

    And I love the cold...but I don't think I can take it year round.

    I love cold weather. I HATE the weather in houston. You can always ward up with layers of clothes in the cold. If it is hot, you cant do much about it.

    I really don't understand this...you can strip down just as easily as add on...it goes both ways.

    It's really just a matter of personal preference. Personally, I'd rather have less clothes then more; more restricts your movement.

    My thoughts exactly. I hate having to wear layers upon layers of clothes.

    Not really. It depends on where you are going and where you are. Also even if you shred layers, you can still be miserably hot. But with enuogh layers on, you can be warm.
