With SA wanting to move Brent Berry, would this trade help us?

Bob Sura & Bonzi( Old Yellow)

    for

    Brent Berry & Matt Bonner

Since Bonzi has hurt SA in the past they may want to grab him just to keep him off other teams rosters.

    1. it's Barry, not Berry
    2. I've never heard of Bonzi being an old yellow canary, so I'm a bit lost there...
    3. bad trade... and to a division rival? Bonzi has more trade value than that even if he doesn't get playing time right now.. if we acquire someone, we'd probably want help at the 1 or 4... Barry is not that... Bonner is a bigger red-headed Ryan Bowen... okay so that last part may not be true, but who really wants Bonner anyways

Bonzi contracted tuberculosis. Battier is his huckleberry.

It would be tempting but I get the feeling SA could turn Bonzi around and make them an even deeper team. It's really difficult to ascertain whether it would be a good idea to trade Bonzi to a Western Conference team, much less a division rival.

Don't giveaway Bonzi to the one team he was brought in to destroy. You can't possibly be any more r****ded. That's just stupid.

Bonzi would eat us up in the playoffs as a Spur! Just imagine Head trying to guard him. He was putting up 28ppg just a year ago. Give it time...

    wtf is Old Yellow? (seriously?)

And honestly, I couldn't imagine what this was about based on the thread title...and I was thinking "could this really be about bringing back Bill Berry?" =P At least I didn't feel dumb upon entering the thread..

this is a very smart idea!! I would trade Tmac and Yao for Halle Berry as long as she wears nothing but an XL jersey :D

    j/k

but still though, I wouldn't trade Bonzi for Brent Barry, are we out of our minds??

as mentioned by many posters, Bonzi's trade value is high even w/o him playing. so I would keep him and then trade him for an inknown commodity. inknown commodities are smart and they always help!! :D

Giving the Spurs Bonzi would be like handing them the Championship.
