A car of my own anyway, I may be up for a taxi assuming it doesn't cost me 40 bucks.

    Basically, the plan is...

    Leave work at 4:45-5pm
Drive to Hobby, arrive before 5:30pm
Check in, board my flight, flight leaves at 6.
6-7 = twiddle my thumbs while in the air
7-730 = Get my ass to American Airlines Center from Love Field.

    Any bright ideas?

Only other real option is an airport shuttle which might feed the West End.

I don't believe there is a mass transit route for that, but I may be mistaken. Try checking the Love Field website.

I recommend the train. I have not hooked up to it from the airport, but I do take it to AAC and it drops you off right at the parking lot. I find it cheaper and easier than driving

That's a pretty tight schedule. Your boss won't let you just leave work at lunch? He MUST be a Mavs fan...

Unless you work right down the street from Hobby, that my friend, at that time is going to be tough. Good luck

yap even if he goes around bw8 all the way to avoid the traffic still is not enough.. might as well leave not later than 4:15 and take bw8 to be sure.. I', pretty sure your job is going to make a big deal anout leaving 30 minutes earlier than what you originally planned to..

I also take the DART to AAC. Mockingbird Station is right across the street from me. I get on the Victory Train with my free pass and 10 minutes later I'm right in front of American Airlines!

Taxi shouldnt cost that much though. I'm guessing 15 bucks each way.

Taxi would probably be the fastest way there since it's pretty much a straight shot on the free way from Love Field

Miguel. Take Ipecac at 3pm. Leave work. Get an earlier flight.

    SHEESH you're cutting it close.
