Golden Globe Spoilers: Spoiler Bah. Steve Carell lost to Alec Baldwin and the Office lost out to Ugly Betty. Whatever.
It was great when that girl waited to be interviewed, which was not in the protocol, awkwardly going off camera, then rushed back to avoid mutual embarassment. It's a great honor to know you have such acting range that you can "play ugly." I'm just wondering how much money she cost NBC for commercial time.
no way alec baldwin should have won over steve. not only is he funnier, but his character requires so much more. he's basically playing the biggest douche ever, yet everyone still loves and sympathizes with michael scott. alec's character on 30 Rock is pretty much a watered down copy of michael scott (a toolish boss who wishes his employees would be his friends). for shame.
Alec Baldwin can act circles around anybody on tv... its kinda like a former NBA all-star going down and dominating the D-league.
Dwights future? Spoiler I came across this on the OfficeTally.com site: I saw them filming today … They were at a Staples on Empire in Burbank. Rainn Wilson (Dwight) was wearing a Staples uniform. At first I thought he was another employee because they were hanging out outside getting pics with Steve Carell. Then I noticed, it was Dwight! Turns out the scene is Michael coming to talk to Dwight at Staples. Someone said he gets fired. Either way, if he quit or was fired, he was definitely a Staples employee.
And Steve Carell is like one of these rising stars that's already had a taste of big success in the league (with a blockbuster like the 40 year old virgin, and scene-stealing turns in everything else he's done) and is only going to get bigger and better every year (kind of like D-wade in your analogy).
i've never oddly enjoyed anything more than the michael and dwight welcome back high five. addition by addition.
great episode, though i still like last weeks better. jim throwing that cellphone across the ceiling was awesome.
That was quick, looks like Dwight's back. Also, how long do you guys think Andy's going to stay? At this rate, he'll be gone pretty quickly.
yeah looks like they're setting it up so it's all the original cast by the season finale. also, now they have jim and pam back on track to each other so probably another cliffhanger like last season.
i don't wanna start a new thread but scrubs is freakin' genius. "it's guy love, between two guys" was perfect. and i'm surprised they're getting rid of the other branch people so quickly. i thought we had more time with andy and karen, but they're basically done for.
Yeah, just a little It's the only half an hour I look forward to all week. And it goes by just like that...
