That's rarely the head coach's fault. They aren't in front of a replay to make a decision whether to challenge. It's almost always some assistant coach that tells them that a play is worth a challenge.
the metal mistakes from the chargers just killed them, even when they make a play, they somehow find a way to screw it up.
It looked a few yards short not 5-7 but I had a bad angle. Bye bye Marty but he'll get another gig I'm sure.
I think this says so much for the mental toughness of Brady...he was obviously flustered by the pressure and made a lot of poor throws, but he came through in the end. There was a couple of times when they showed Brady talking and encouraging his teammates on the sideline, even when the game seemed to be going away to the Chargers. Hell, he's even transformed Jabar Gafney into a great playoff receiver! I am completely impressed by him.
Good call so far.... I went 3-1. Can't be blamed for missing the last one. The Saints game was a lot closer than I predicted. Indy over New England, New Orleans over Chicago. Indy wins Superbowl.
Is there another pro-sports team luckier than the patriots in north America? They stumbled and fumbled, yet still wont the game. San Diego was just the opposite. Talented players eager to knock out the opponent in one punch and shoot itself in the foot by doing that.
LT just called the Patriots classless and said it may be a result of the head coach. I have to agree with him there in that they are classless in some games.
I know Patriots have poise and can always grind it out on top in games like this, but something about that team truly bothers me. On the other hand, the Chargers are as stupid as it can be. You know the patriots will do whatever to win the game, and yet they still bite. Stupid.
Why did he say that? What specifically did they do? (I want some reason to like them even less for next week. )
