DaDaSon: I broke the TV and daddy replaced it with a new and better one. I wonder what happens when I break this one.
He has to learn sometime.......he is gonna get about a week of watching the rest of the family play....... I think he will understand. I don't think you can even repair the old LCD by replacing the screen.....I am going to try...it would be nice to have a backup...just in case. DD
Well, it looks like I have a 37" POS...that can not be repaired. So, I have to toss a TV that only needs a new screen away, because I can't get a replacement screen. I even called Westinhouse directly and they said they don't do that. Anyone ever replace an LCD before? The model number is LVM-37w1 It is or rather was a 1080p Monitor. DD
always late for the good stuff. Im two pages too late to make the crack... "Make him read your posts"
Here is what you need to do... The next time he asks if its OK to play the WII say yes and right when he starts playing go in the room and tell him he cant play. Tell him that initially you lied about being able to play just like he lied about wearing the wrist strap.
If you really want to scare your kid, bust out the "Better Basketball, Starring Rafer Alston" 12-DVD set.
Ok, here's the scoop. Rumor: Best Buy to sell Wii's on the 15th. Confirmed: Big sale of Wii's on the 21st from Target, BB, TRU etc.
I think a week of watching everyone else have a blast, when you're four, is pretty ample punishment. As for the 37" paperweight- try ebaying it. You might be able to get a hundred bucks for it.
Hell, does it not work at all? I'm broke, but I'll take it off your hands if it's just a cracked screen. I have friends who might be able to fix it, but I'm not sure.
It comes on, but there is no picture.......just some squiggly lines down the screen.....the LCD underneath the plastic cover is broken, there is a nice light colored pattern of a Wii remote right to the left center of the screen. DD
I found that online deals tend to be better. You have to be careful cuz some sites charge for shipping but you can find some with no shipping and tax. The mark-up from stores like Sears is ridiculous.
If you;re still looking for punishment suggestions, I'd like to submit that you take his allowance and purchase a 2007 Shelby GT500, red, and donate it to a Non-profit Mustang Club (Total Performance Mustangs) in the Lower Rio Grande Valley, the president of that club to be precise (me). The feeling of teaching a young one a life lesson is something you just can't put a price tag on...
