Just wondering here what your standards are for when it comes to women. Because if I ended up with a girl that looked like Rachel Stevens.. man, I don't know what I'd do. I'd try to give her the world and all I've got. Beauty like that? You can't take that for granted. But of course, it would be hard to end up with a Rachel Stevens in the first place... my question for bbsers is: are you trying to hook up with a really fine girl or would you settle for an average chick because you don't think you can hook up with a really fine girl? This topic may be a little shallow...
Not to give the obvious answer, but it would of course depend on her personality. And of course whether or not you're talking long term. One nighter I'm sure you go for the gusto. But long term if she's high maintenance and b**** why would you bother? Who cares if she looks good? You'd be able to put up with her for a while and then you'd want to ram your fist down her throat. Of course you'd have to go for it before you found out what her personality was like. So give it a whirl. You got nothing to lose. Worked for me.
I have very high standards. I'm greedy, I want it all. Looks, personality, manners, cook, class, height, good in bed, etc. Of course I'll probally end up settling for a woman thats around 80% of what I really want, but that doesn't matter. As long as she isn't short and she's good looking, thats the two main requirements for me. In the end, all I really care about is having kids that look good. In this day and age with the divorce rate rising to obsurd levels, I don't believe in "true" love anymore. The only thing most woman I know care about is $$$$. Mind you these chicks are above average and imo have the right to demand this. Would I want them as a wife? Hell no, but Im sure some guy who is even more shallow than me with six figures wouldn't mind.
I can honestly say that the girl I got right now is not only "keeper" material, but she's also smoking hot, and because I have her - I'd never settle for anything less. IMO, she is as good looking as any girl I'd meet, but her personality puts her over the top. She's also really smart (4.0 GPA in her 2nd year of Nursing) and matches up with my spiritual beliefs. She's fun, does things I do, and supports the things that I'm best at (comes to my basketball games, reads all my work, etc). If I never met her, I think I would probably settle for less. I'm glad I met her.
the girl im with right now is awesome. but what sucks is i know she wont want me eventually. and i know that before she knows it, but yet i still keep going ahead with it. i guess if anything i should just enjoy the time. right
Pretty damn high standards.. : Has to have some artistic(perferably musical) ability. An open mind. A world wide prespective. A passion for life, of an earnest heart ,an unbiased always learning approach. Has to be well-read, sophisticated and cultured.. yet whimsical and playful, free spirited... yet responsible.. Very affectionate.. definite must, seems many women these days have lost their natural talent to articulate simple warmth. Expressive. Kindness is another absolute must. Also, independent, driven and self-sufficient, strong willed, not one of those women waiting for a man to build their world for 'em, or that rely too much on anyone else's thoughts/opinions but their own on anything to do with their lives. Stripped of fickle stubborness and trivial, destructive over analysis. Which brings us to the crescendo of this impossible list, drum roll please....................................... And the -Never-gonna-happen-you-must-be-crazy-you're-dead-this-is-women-we're-talking-about-she'll-cut-off-your-penis-smoke-some-weed-can-you-read-this-this-is-gay-wtf- highest of the highest standard and completion of my personal pretty damn high standards' list : A woman that knows who she is, what she wants, and goes after it. "No BullSh*t"- Jackie Chan And, I'm good.
I have pretty low standards. As the saying goes, "You get what you give in life," and since I have nothing substantial to offer to women, I don't expect anything extraordinary -in looks or personality- in return. ROCKETS ARE ROLLING!!!! rolling, I tellz ya!!!!

Physical - Nice smile, soft tan skin, not too fat, not too skinny, no fake body parts, no fake tan, medium sized honkers (slightly more than a handful), smooth tan legs.. Mental - independent, strong, funny, doesn't take crap from me or anybody else but isn't a b****, someone who WANTS me but doesn't NEED me, doesn't mind my obsession with the Rockets and even goes with me to games and buys me tickets for my b-day, very outgoing (I can be a little shy), gets along with all my friends, lets me watch football on Sunday's even if it's at her house, smart (2 degrees would be nice), laughs at my dumb jokes... Hmmmm, without realizing it, I've just described perfectly my girlfriend of 6 months. And to be honest, we will probably be married at this time next year.

BTW, has anyone seen the movie "Alfie"? The blonde crazy chick is crazy hot... I wouldn't have had broken up with her if I was him. even if she was that psycho... You can always change people, right?
Pretty girls are a dime a dozen. In this day and age, if you can't find a woman you find attractive, you're either blind or have ridiculous standards. Likewise, most "hot" women (and by that I mean the bleached, bi-because-it's-popular attention whores that seem to be in style currently) are headcases. Finding a woman with a compatible personality - now THAT'S a challenge! I don't mean to come off as condescending, because I have my... preferences too. I wind up dating (or at least chasing ) tall busty women more often than not, but it's certainly not a requirement... Personality wise, nothing beats a sense of humor... Intelligence usually comes along with this, so throw that in the "wants" pile too... Can't be crazy... Must like time traveling and birdwatching.
